"Mijn man en ik waren eind februari in dit kleine hotel, en het was onze verwachtingen overschreden. We hadden een mooie kamer met een balkon met uitzicht op het water. Ik werk morgen op de geur van de kaken die uit de oven komen. De kamer was ruime met een grote armoire om kleren te opslaan, enz. De badkamer had een mooie tegel en was ook zeer groot. Als de grote locatie niet genoeg was, was de echte uitzicht was de prachtige gasten en het geweldige ontbijt. Dit ontbijt had een grote selectie van huisgemaakte taart met smaakartikelen zoals Tuna en Oliven. Voeg een cappuccino en vers gemalen sinaasappelsap toe en het was een fantastische manier om onze dagen te beginnen voordat we naar buiten gaan om het gebied te exploreren. Uw gastheer is zo warm en vriendelijk... ze verbeelden wat een geweldig hotelervaring... graag met hen te ontmoeten! Er zijn verschillende plaatsen om te eten op een korte wandeling en je kunt de stappen (veel stappen kunnen te veel zijn voor sommige om te klimmen) naar het hoofddeel van de stad voor winkelen en meer voedselopties. We zouden hier terugkomen om te blijven wanneer we in het gebied zijn en ik ben jammer dat ik nooit het recept voor de prachtige Ricotta cake heb gekregen die we de eerste ochtend hadden in Sciacca."

Acceptable public parking - either free or €1/hour am/pm -free overnight, is nearby. If only more places were as good as this."

"We booked the wrong week at another B&B in Sciacca but were recommended to Dedalo and how lucky we were! Although not technically open our charming hosts Mr and Mrs Calogero welcomed us in and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cool, spacious rooms are built into the stone hill. They're big, comfortable and well appointed with lovely bathrooms and showers. We sat on Dedalo's little balcony overlooking the street for drinks in the evening and our very nice self-service breakfast in the morning. There's limited white-line parking and plenty of blue zone parking just up the Corso after the Porta Palermo. Sciacca is a fascinating, completely un-touristy town with plenty of pleasant places to eat. It's a great stopping point after seeing Western Sicily before the drive to Agrigento and points East."
