"A typical hotel with beautiful Andean decor. The room is a little dark, and the window overlooks a patio, but it's very good for a short stay. Tren a las nubes is right across the street from the hotel. There are many restaurants nearby. I would especially recommend the "802" for the quality of its food. We enjoyed a delicious "bife de chorizo" with "country-style" papas, all accompanied by a good glass of Malbec. The breakfast is very good, and the homemade fruit juices are worth trying. In short, a good 3☆☆☆ hotel for a pleasant stay in Salta."

"Delightful hotel. The first thing to mention is the kindness of everybody in this hotel and very especially the duty managers Maurizio and Diego always efficiently helping with a big and charming smile. The deluxe rooms are to be highly recommended: the one we are staying in is huge, furnished with a lot of charm, a great bathroom with jaccuzi bathtub and cherry on the cake, a small and totally private courtyard where I really enjoyed spending some time. Perfectly located. Nice breakfast."

Luxor Hotel & Spa

"I stayed with my girlfriend in June. It was a total disappointment. The hotel is old and it looks run down. The room we got was assigned incorrectly and they gave us single beds instead of double beds. We asked for a change but they said they didn't have any. Also, the window was broken and couldn't be closed. The water in the shower took several minutes to heat up and had little pressure. The air conditioning didn't cool, which was annoying since we had days with 29 degrees. The breakfast is small and with very little variety. We had breakfast at 7am and there was usually a lack of replenishment of products and it took a long time to clean the few tables there. The hotel is supposed to have a garage but it was always occupied, without even being able to park at the door to bring down the suitcases comfortably. Instead, they send you to a parking lot that is 2 blocks away, which does not open on Sundays or holidays, so you have to look for a key at the hotel, open it and then return the key. The hallways to the rooms have lights that only work on a schedule, between 7pm and 6am, outside of this time the only light available is from the emergency exit sign; something I have never seen in another hotel. The attention of the people at the front desk was awful, from the first day we asked to change beds or rooms and they told us it was not possible, that they did not know if there was another room. They could not tell us if it was possible to request late check out either, we had to ask shift by shift and they always told us that we should ask another receptionist at another time. No employee was able to give us an answer. It is a cheap hotel, which does not comply with what it advertises."

"Geweldige plek met aardig personeel. Zeer grote gemeenschappelijke ruimte, ideaal voor een drankje en een hapje. Jonge en energieke sfeer. De kamer had verwarming, wat fantastisch was. Ik vond het geweldig, 10/10!"

"They gave us a wet, mosquito-odour room, without light, a dirty bathroom, with long hair left on the ground, with date items, small, with one hand towel, and nothing to support our things. The furniture is old and all furniture elements are destroyed for use and lack of maintenance. The heat pump is inefficient and noisy. The room is reguverned, but the handle left on the ground is folded and reweighed. The breakfast is not commentable because it is not a buffet or even a paper consisting of three predefined options to take as an alternative to each other. The city centre is not very close and the hotel is not very comfortable, so I don't understand why this hotel should be chosen and we will certainly complain with who has addressed us here."

"We stayed one night, left to go on a 2 day tour then returned for two nights. Our first bedroom faced the street and was a bit noisy. The second bedroom faced the back of the hotel and was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location for walking into town and Salta is a lovely place to explore. There is an unheated pool on the top floor. It probably warms up in summer. We were there in November and it was quite cold- okay once you were in. Staff service was excellent. The only reason for four stars and not five was that the breakfast was more limited than in other similar hotels. You can order eggs and they are delicious freshly cooked. However the fruit salad was mainly apples. Perhaps it is difficult to get melon and pineapple at this time of year but our other hotels all had them. Apart from the breakfast I loved the hotel and would stay here again when I visit Salta."

"I had a good impression of this accommodation. The rooms were fairly clean and had a hairdryer. There were plenty of toiletries provided. I would have liked some toothbrushes. The staff was attentive and prompt in answering all questions via WhatsApp."

"The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. The house has a nice large bathroom and kitchen facilities, but we missed the rooms for our breakfast."
