Het hotel is zeer schoon en het personeel is nuttig. Eten is oké, maar ik hou van de Müsli. Het is een buffet, ik weet niet hoe de naam van het voedsel gewoon ghlacadh het is heerlijk."

"Suvretta House is a magnificent hotel! Built in 1912, it looks like a former castle or princely manor turned hotel but it was actually purpose-built. You enter the beautiful glass doorway, which consist of large glass doors followed by a revolving glass door. Then a huge magnificent hallway with the reception desk to the left. Going straight ahead leads you to the massive parlor-lounge area cum tea room complex (I say ‘complex’ since it’s four or five large sitting areas combined), and at around 4:30 pm, you can do proper high tea with musicians to boot!) The receptionist Francisca led us personally to our room – and what a beautiful room it was! Unfortunately, it was at the end of a very long and wide corridor (probably 120 meters end to end) so it was quite a hike – ha ha ha. Opening the brass-fixtured door via a proper heavy key, you came into the foyer, with the T&B on the right and wardrobe cabinets on the left. Then another impressive door with a similar fancy brass doorknob then leads you to the bedroom proper. What woodwork! The inner door, the massive wall to wall cabinetry on the left, the work desk, the TV-ref cabinet, the Nespresso coffee cart, the coffee-fruit table, and the night tables are all in very expensive hardwood. Lighting was great, with several of the lamps having variable intensity switches. The drapes were heavy and provided total blackout effect for sleeping. When they were open, the windows showed off great tree views – after all, the hotel is set in a woody forest high above the elevation of St Moritz town proper, which was a short 5 minute ride away. The toilet and bath was also elegantly done in classical style stainless steel fixtures. There were separate enclosures for the shower and the toilet. The floor and walls were in formal gray or white tiles. About the toilet bowl – the flushing system was very modern and novel – you could use left or right hand and you could flush even while you were seated. Lots of outlets everywhere, which my wife and I appreciated since we carry so many gadgets with us – Macs, ipads, iphones, digital cameras, headphones etc. We wanted to walk our 10,000 steps and the concierge recommended going to the town center and walking all around St Moritz lake. And Suvretta House had its own bus shuttle, leaving the hotel every 30 and 00, then leaving the city center every 15 and 45. What a great service. They also had an old style trolley on display, immaculately clean, which I presume was what they used back in the 1900s to transport their guests. And then they had a luxury car, also done in their hunter green color and with the hotel logo at the ready. When we got back in the evening, someone rang the door and they gave us Swiss chocolates inside small boxes designed like their trolley! Unbelievable! In the morning, we went down for breakfast and the dining room was so impressive, made up again in dark expensive hardwood, reflecting the hardwood used in the guest rooms. And the layout "

De elektrische ketel had een breuk in de ketelhandleiding, mijn vriend kreeg een schaal en blister na het te hebben. Het ontbijt is aardig en degene die verantwoordelijk is is nuttig."
