I suspect it was from the previous owner. The bedroom cabinet next to the bed was labeled "Personal Property, Do Not Use." I rented the entire apartment, and you turned it into a shared space. There were two used toothpaste and soap stubs on the bathroom sink, and they claimed they were left there by the cleaning staff, allowing guests to use them freely. I've been using *** since 2013 and have stayed in hundreds of B&Bs, but this is the first time I've encountered this. They also claimed the tub in the bathtub was left there by the cleaning staff; it was filthy and full of sand. The bathtub and shower are combined, and they're quite high, so be careful if you're not sure how to use it. I contacted the landlord, and he responded fairly quickly. But besides shirking my responsibilities, I just told myself not to be too picky. WiFi is mobile, so if you don't want to reminisce about the 2G era, you should just use your own data plan."
