"After 1 small imbroglio at the level of our reservation (room that was not equipped with a King size vs reservation) very quickly resolved our stay was well passed. The only bemol is the temperature in the marine space (water is not very hot ...) and the space has a small relaxing room (7 /8 places ...). Otherwise the staff at the bar at the restaurant and the room women are very laughing and polite. The quality of the restaurant is top (it catches the sea space) the dishes are well cooked and everything is very good really has to be emphasized. The hotel is closed in this period (February) it is a little bad because it is lacking animation."

"Toen ik naar Royan ging om de oude vrienden te zien, woonde ik hier een nacht. Het hotel is dicht bij het strand, niet ver van het treinstation, de locatie is geweldig, de twee dagen die ik kon verlaten regenen, kan niet genieten van de schoonheid. De kamer is groot in Europa, zeer schoon. Het personeel van de receptie verklaarde het gebruik van de kruising zeer geduldig. In het algemeen is het een goed thuishotel."

"We verbleven er tijdens de voorjaarsvakantie. De accommodatie is zo goed als nieuw. Goed onderhouden, schoon en functioneel. Onberispelijk personeel en service. Het appartement met één slaapkamer was schoon, goed ingedeeld en goed geluiddicht. De wifi werkte prima. Het terras was erg aangenaam, ondanks het uitzicht op het gebouw aan de overkant of de straat (afhankelijk van aan welke kant van het appartement je je bevindt). Let op dat je niet meerdere deuren tegelijk opent, want die kunnen tegen elkaar botsen en krassen achterlaten. Het zwembad was schoon. We hebben niet ontbeten, omdat dat boven ons budget lag. Er zijn parkeerplaatsen op straat, maar in het hoogseizoen moet je waarschijnlijk een plek reserveren in de grote ondergrondse parkeergarage van de accommodatie. Al met al een uitstekende ervaring."

"Na een klein misverstand met onze reservering (kamer bleek geen kingsize bed te hebben in tegenstelling tot de reservering) werd ons verblijf snel en goed opgelost. Het enige nadeel is de temperatuur in het zeegedeelte (het water is niet erg warm...) en de ruimte heeft een kleine ontspanningsruimte (7/8 plaatsen...). Verder is het personeel, zowel bij de receptie, in de bar, in het restaurant als bij de kamermeisjes, erg vriendelijk en beleefd. De kwaliteit van het restaurant is top (wat een goede zaak is voor de ligging aan zee), de gerechten zijn goed bereid en alles is werkelijk heel goed, dat verdient absoluut een vermelding. In deze periode (februari) is alles rond het hotel gesloten. Dat is jammer, want er is weinig vermaak."

In feite is de kamer heel schoon, maar omdat de grond is rood, is het niet zo warm als het hotel. De blanke vent voelt zich niet zo vriendelijk voor de Aziaten, het is nog steeds goed om de volgende keer in de ketting te leven. De deur kan parkeren, maar er is niet nodig een, dicht bij de zee"

"Licht, functioneel en aangenaam appartement met een prachtig uitzicht op het zwembad. Comfortabel beddengoed, perfect voor een goede nachtrust. De ontvangst was bijzonder hartelijk, door een jong, dynamisch en altijd vriendelijk team. Speciale vermelding voor Kevin en Claire voor hun vriendelijkheid en professionaliteit! Het complex is goed onderhouden, ideaal gelegen op slechts een steenworp afstand van voorzieningen en op slechts 100 meter van het strand. Het zwembad is erg prettig en de optionele spa/hammam zorgt voor een heerlijke ontspanning. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en van hoge kwaliteit, een echte aanrader om de dag goed te beginnen. Kortom, een zeer goed verblijf dat ik van harte aanbeveel!"

"We stayed for some days at the Hotel Hermitage in Royan and i liked the location and room, but we didn‘t sleep well or long enough due to the loud buzzing noises of the air cons in the rooms of other guests and the deep drone in the mornings from the elevator as we had a room not far from it. The hotel advertises free parking spots but the hotel hasn‘t parking spaces of it‘s own and the parking spots just behind the hotel are in the blue zone (max 1 to 1.5 hours stay possible) so you have to hunt for a free parking spot in town (best chances are around the cathedral). Avoid the hotel on weekends as young guests book just one or two nights to attend parties in town and they make a lot of noise in their room, but as there‘s no staff from 21:00 on you can‘t ask anybody to talk to the kids."
