"I had a great time here within the happy owners family atmosphere. The food was excellent with the cook Chris preparing special dishes within reason /availability. Diving was macro but some fish protected areas. Dive guide Spencer's ability to spot the small stuff was incredible. It cost me about a hundred pounds a day all in as a solo diver and I can drink a few beers in the evening. In summary a great place to dive and unwind. Thanks to Ronnie and Charo for being such lovely hosts"

"It is very clean and cozy. The receptionist is very nice and accommodating. The wi-fi is also fast and you can even stream netflix on their tv. They have a motor cycle that you can rent for 24 hrs for an affordable price. It is also near downtown, about 15mins walk depending on your pace."

"Carabao Island is a great place to explore. Having this kind of resort is also a good thing, they have a lot of potential. We tried the dome tent for the first time and it wasn’t so bad but not ideal during day time as it can get extremely hot inside. The beach is amazing and calm."

"We had the best time with Owen and Anjie. The Footprints resort setting was great. It felt like staying with a family (but a very nice and fun one!) We stayed in an air-conditioned bungalow facing the sea. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food (and cocktails!) were very good, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the weather was not always good (we went in January, probably the end of the rainy season) but Owen and Anjie were amazing hosts and helped us have a great time anyway. They embraced us as part of their family and even took us to tour part of the island."

"This is a nice hotel at the beach front. The staff is so helpful and it’s excellent service. The room we had was in second floor, with little balcony with two chairs and sea view. Good size and clean. And aircondition. The restaurant had the same nice view and it was also a little siting group. The food was good and it was a lot off wines and drinks at the menu. It is a small bar in the garden with the sea view. Some sun beds and you can play volleyball, snorkel and more. It’s also possible too do a guided round trip with «car» just ask the manager. If you want a quiet and nice stay at carabao, I can recommend this hotel."

"The 3P dive shop next door was fully booked, so the owner recommended this place. However, I strongly advise against staying here if you can book directly from the shop. Putting aside the huge difference in accommodation compared to 3P, and the fact that the diving isn't particularly demanding, walking back between dives every day is incredibly uncomfortable. Plus, the water is uncomfortably cold. The room is new, but it's very noisy by the roadside, making it difficult to sleep well. From 7 AM onwards, you're constantly bombarded by cars on the main road. There's no hairdryer! There's practically no service. The only advantage is that the room is cleaned daily."
