"My stay at this hotel was really nice and super comfy. As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated having such a clean, spacious, and well-maintained room to relax in after exploring Romblon. The staff were all very kind, accommodating, and approachable, which made my stay even better. What I also loved most is the location — it’s very near the port and the town, so everything was convenient and accessible. Overall, I had a great experience staying here and I would definitely come back once I visit Romblon again. Highly recommended for solo travelers!"

We gingen erheen voor een duik, omdat het resort ook een duikwinkel heeft. De duikjes zijn geweldig en de koraals mooi. Ik ga zeker terug voor een paar meer exploratie duikjes. "

"Carabao Island is een geweldige plek om te ontdekken. Met dit soort resort is ook een goed ding, ze hebben veel potentieel. We probeerde de dome tent voor het eerst en het was niet zo slecht, maar niet ideaal tijdens de dag als het kan zeer warm binnen. Het strand is geweldig en rustig."

"We stayed in this hotel for six days and five nights and were very satisfied with it. It was our first time to visit Romblon Island and we came across this accommodation online. It's definitely one of the best hotels in Romblon. The rooms are air-conditioned, spacious, neat and cozy, with good WIFI connection and en suite bath and shower room. The hotel also has a spa, a small gym, a karaoke room, a café restaurant, a function room, etc., but I think its best feature is its rooftop infinity swimming pool and restaurant. The pool is quite small, but its location offers you a breathtaking view of Romblon Bay below and of some distant islands. Dining on the rooftop is also very relaxing. Food selection is good. The hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. Everything is really well with this accommodation. There's just a couple of difficulties with this place. First, it's located up a hill and taking a tricycle or a motorcycle is necessary to reach it (unless you're into uphill trekking). However, transportation can be arranged with the hotel itself. Second, the hotel also has no elevator and coming to the rooms located on the lower levels can be a big challenge to some. At any rate, the town proper is just a few minutes away, as well as the beach (particularly the famous Bonbon Beach with a lovely sandbar). Highly recommended!"

"We decided to try this place since it’s just an hour away from Boracay. We stayed here for only 2 nights to spend my bestie birthday. David, one of the owner is very kind and easy to talk to. He’s the one answering all my inquiries and giving instructions how to get there. He make sure that we get into the right port so we won’t missed our boat schedule. He even gave us a free room upgrade since we are celebrating our birthday months here. We stayed in their muni muni cliff villa. We love the ocean view and the spacious room for 3 of us. There are some minor problem we encountered like our backdoors in villa cannot be locked which I hope they get fixed. The bathroom is huge but it’s just hard to have your own privacy in a clear glass door with no cover. But it might work for those honeymooners. We really appreciate all efforts they did just to make my bestie birthday celebration a good one. The complimentary cake from the resort is really a Homemade with love. It’s so good and very thoughtful. The staff are so kind and respectful although some seems to be very shy to interact with the guests. Shout out to Ciara and Evian. They’re very attentive. We look forward to come back in this quite place. We hope someday it will be fully operational. They will have more choices to offer like some activity that you can do inside the resort, more food choices . I hope they will have their own F&B manager or someone that will run the operations very well. Who knows how to handle the whole resort business and also we hope they will also put more guards on duty during night time especially down at the cliff villas beach front. There should be atleast big spotlights there and some kind of alarm that you can just press if something went wrong it will make your guest feel more secured too during nighttime while sleeping. I understand the impact of pandemic brought to us and keeping up the maintenance of this huge luxury resort is such a big burden of the owners. I feel bad to see that the beauty of this resort is starting to disappear if they will not make any actions to save it. But overall we love the ambiance, the people, the peaceful quite vacation we had at Ocean Edge Resort. Btw they have a dive shop inside the resort. I just didn’t had a chance to talk to the dive manger and make inquiries. But maybe next time I will do some diving here on my next visit. Again Thank you. "

"We had the best time with Owen and Anjie. The Footprints resort setting was great. It felt like staying with a family (but a very nice and fun one!) We stayed in an air-conditioned bungalow facing the sea. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food (and cocktails!) were very good, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the weather was not always good (we went in January, probably the end of the rainy season) but Owen and Anjie were amazing hosts and helped us have a great time anyway. They embraced us as part of their family and even took us to tour part of the island."
