"We had an amazing stay at Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! From check-in until we left, the service was excellent and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome the entire time. We also appreciated the little extras — the complimentary minibar items and snacks were such a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience here, and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended!"

"Got it! Here’s your revised review, keeping the original friendly tone while clarifying the tour offerings and distance to attractions like Honda Bay and the Underground River: --- **A Perfect Tropical Escape – Carpe Diem Villas Exceeded Expectations!** From the moment we arrived at Carpe Diem Villas, we were treated like VIPs! The staff welcomed us with refreshing drinks and big smiles, instantly setting the tone for a relaxing and memorable stay. The check-in process was smooth, and we immediately felt at home in this beautiful, tranquil retreat. Our villa was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed—combining modern comforts with a cozy tropical vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved having a private balcony where we could unwind with a cup of coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evenings. The pool area was another highlight—serene, well-maintained, and perfect for lounging under the Palawan sun. While the villa is located in Puerto Princesa city (not near far-flung attractions like the Underground River or Honda Bay), the hotel made exploring easy by offering convenient tours to these must-see spots - from city tours to island-hopping adventures, ensuring that we can experience the best of Palawan without the stress of planning. Their recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems were also spot-on! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond—always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their warmth and professionalism made our stay feel extra special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-appointed retreat with outstanding service and easy access to tours (even to faraway attractions!), Carpe Diem Villas is the perfect choice."

"We stayed at Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa for just one night, booking five rooms for a quick family staycation. At first, we were a bit skeptical due to some mixed reviews online, but we were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience turned out to be! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with shell necklaces, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The rooms were spacious and clean, giving us plenty of space to relax. The kids especially enjoyed the pool—while it’s not very large, it was more than enough for them to have fun. The beachfront is beautiful—perfect for photo ops and water activities, though perhaps not ideal for swimming. Still, it adds a charming touch to the resort’s peaceful ambiance. A few areas could use some improvement: • The TVs are a bit outdated—an upgrade to smart TVs would enhance the guest experience. • The window-type air conditioners, while functional, can be a bit noisy. • Some furniture and room details could benefit from light touch-ups to maintain a fresher look. As for the restaurant (operated by a concessioner), the breakfast was decent—nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa exceeded our expectations. It’s a great spot for a relaxing and affordable getaway, and with a few upgrades, it could be even better. Would definitely consider staying again!"

"Mooi hotel met een goed zwembad. Ik hield echt van het hotelgedeelte. Ontbijt is goed.

"Overall, I would this hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. It provides good value for money and relaxing atmosphere and a convenient location, making it ideal for families, business travelers, couples. I would definitely consider staying here again"

"Uitstekend hotel!

"My flight arrived late at night, so I was happy to avail of the free airport pick up. The hotel is near the airport and within walking distance of the provincial capital. The area has many good options for restaurants; across the hotel is a grocery. Local jeeps and tricycles can be hailed in front of the hotel. There were strong rains, but I felt safe in the hotel and the area was not flooded. I tried the breakfast ones and it was well prepared. I had the corned beef. Very good price point. Soundproofing could be improved."
