Hotels in Riga City Center, Riga

The hotel's central location in the northeast end of Riga's old town made it very easy to explore the city. We were close to the city's main attractions and were within a 5 minute walk to the Cat House, Freedom Monument, Riga/Dome Cathedral, and St. Peter's Cathedral. We booked the room without a window. It was very nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. The room was quiet but a bit stuffy and we felt the AC wasn't strong enough. We felt there was still good value with this room though because of the price and there was a lot packed into it. There was a Nespresso coffee machine, tea station, cute tea cups and a large bathroom with a very nice shower. We appreciated that a wall adapter was provided and plugged in that worked with North American style plugs. The hotel is in a building from the 17th century and has a very nice looking mirrored atrium. There is a fun story where a horse threw a shoe, hit this building and stuck so the owner kept it because he felt it was good luck. The hotel has a bar in the lobby as well as a small shop. The highlight of this hotel was the breakfast which had a great view of the city from the window and a very good breakfast. The breakfast had a small buffet with cheese, smoked fish, fresh bread and some other nice choices. We enjoyed the variety of drinks like the rhubarb lemonade and hot chocolate. You can order one hot item which included.

Beautiful hotel in very nice modern area of Riga, light and clean rooms. I’m here for the second time and I have plans to visit again

I think it is overrated and not the same as the picture, a bit tired hotel, location is good, but if wanted to go bus station with baggage, you may need to climb multi stair case to across to opposite. Breakfast offer sparkling wine is plus point,food is more towards to local delight, if the room arrange in 1st floor, fews staircase need to climb as well, no issue if small baggage

Dit hotel is geweldig. Ik ken hem al sinds hij Reval heette. Alles was uitzonderlijk. Overdag serveren ze in de lobby citroenwater en hele lekkere zelfgemaakte koekjes. Het ontbijt is sensationeel: alles is van uitstekende kwaliteit en er is een gratis à la carte menu: de avocadotoast die u op de foto ziet, is voortreffelijk. Vakkundig personeel. Beter kan het niet.

De locatie van het hotel is zeer centraal, het receptiepersoneel is vriendelijk en vriendelijk. Ontbijt is adequaat en verscheiden. De kamers zijn schoon, er is een ketel, en het bed is comfortabel. Als ik terugkom, blijf ik opnieuw in hetzelfde hotel. U kunt uw bagage gratis verlaten na het check-out en onderzoek.

Perfect for staying in Riga and walking almost everywhere! Everything is a stone throw away. The staff are super helpful and the city itself is gorgeous!

Great location around 15 minute walk from the old city and tucked away in a quiet area off a main road. Along with my final booking details, the hosts provided me with excellent details including videos for how to access the property by myself. I somehow managed to lose this email when I arrived and the hosts were extremely prompt in helping me out. The apartment is cosy and ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. For cooking, there's a two ring induction hob, which for my needs this was sufficient. I also noticed a dishwasher and washing maching. The TV is internet enabled, great for Netflix or Youtube streaming channels. Generally I found the hosts to be very helpful. If I'm ever in Riga again I'd be more than happy to stay in the same apartment.

Lovely hotel, clean, off road parking. Friendly staff. Asked for coffee sachets in the room, they never arrived after being promised twice that they would be sent up. Dinner was awful, menus not clear as to what was on offer. Buffett breakfast, lots of choice.

An honest review from an British point of view. Location is great, noisy on a weekend if you go to bed before midnight. Beds in the room are very low to the ground with pillows that are awful very lumpy. thin duvets which are ideal in the summer. Breakfast is great. You have to book the Spa if you want to use it at an additional fee 18 euro I believe, I tried three times to say it was full? They admit last customer at 7pm but the Spa is open until 9pm. Over all I would compare the hotel to a Travel Lodge in UK certainly not 4 star high standard. Staff need to learn on how to smile it goes a long way for poor service.
