"Kamer met dubbele douche was prima , vriendelijke eigenaars die elke morgen jouw ontbijtbestelling vers maken. Verwacht geen groot buffet maar dat geeft ruimte voor een uitgebreide maltese lunch... Op zondagmorgen is het een gezellige markt in de straat."

"Before check-in you get all the information needed to enter the property and to find your keys. The room was equipped with everything I needed, there was even a washing machine and ironing board, Wi-Fi was reliable, A/C efficient. Upon arrival I also found some snacks and a bottle of water on the table - very nice. Buffet breakfast (buffet lounge is on the top floor, part of which is a terrace) was sufficient - some cereals, youghurt, one kind of cheese, ham and salami, jam, marmelade, toast or bread etc. There is also a lift in the facility. The host is very kind, polite and helpful. The building is situated in a peaceful quiet area near the centre, about 8 minutes on foot from the "bus station" and 10 minutes from Mdina."

"We hebben één nacht in kamer 1 verbleven en het liefst helemaal! De kamer was prachtig ingericht, ruime, en had een charmant raam met uitzicht op de straat beneden. Het bed en de kistjes waren ongelooflijk comfortabel, en de badkamer was spotloos met prachtige complimentaire toiletten. Ontbijt was uitstekend een grote selectie van granen, vruchten, pasta, en warme drankjes, plus heerlijke gemaakt-to-order opties. Mijn dubbele kaas omelet was gevuld en perfect gekookt. De locatie is ideaal slechts minuten van gratis parkeergelegenheid, een korte loopafstand naar Mdina, en omringd door grote restaurants (inclusief het hotel’s eigen). Een warm, familie-gedreven boutique hotel dat we gelukkig zouden terugkeren!"

"This place can be considered perfect. From the detailed decoration to the quiet location, everything is aimed to make your stay nice and cozy. The room is really spacious and has new furnishing. The toilet could be the one you find in a luxurius hotel. A full breakfast is also served nearby. It is highly recommendable. Thank you for a smooth stay."

"When the taxi dropped me off at the hotel, I remember thinking "no, this cannot be it, this is too fancy, did I book this?". But I was at the right place. Entering the studio/room I was even more baffled. I kept smiling, realizing I'd have this place all to myself for the next five days! Everything looks so fancy. The apartment is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a heavenly rain shower, cleanliness was good, large terrace with a nice valley view. There even is a washing machine and drying rack. The room is quiet, even though I could hear the road works in the distance (luckily my studio was on the other side). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great if you wanna be at a more quiet spot but still within walking distance to city center (15 minute walk to Rabat center). Good convenience store nearby. The thing I disliked the most were the pillows. Apart from that there are a few minor malfunctions such as the light in the wardrobe that didn't go out and the ventilation in the bathroom that would continuously turn on and off. All in all this is a great place to stay at a great location to explore Rabat and Mdina, as well as many other parts of Malta. Without a special offer this place would be above my budget but I do hope to stay at this place again!"

"Well if you want convenience, comfort, good surroundings, fantastic staff, great bus connections, close to local restaurants and the Mdina then look no further. The Howard house hotel is excellent. A good breakfast, comfortable room, excellent standards of cleanliness and decor is what you will experience and also a hidden gem on the roof to relax and enjoy rooftop views and a jacuzzi with lovely personal touches in the hotel as well."

"The phrase "boutique hotel" is often overused these days however Maison Medina is fully worthy of the title. It is an excellent 4 bedroom hotel in a fantastic location. The hotel is spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Our stay was made all the more enjoyable by the lovely Anita. We intend to return as soon as possilbe."
