"We had an amazing stay at this hotel! We were very satisfied with the hotel and the staff. Everyone was kind and polite and the hotel was exceptionally clean. Our balcony had a stunning view overlooking the harbor – perfect for morning coffee. Breakfast was delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and we absolutely loved the beautiful garden under the olive trees – such a peaceful spot to relax. The pool was also fantastic – clean, well-maintained and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Next time we visit Rab Island, we will definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful holiday in this hotel. Although it was once designed as "adults only", I think the current change to "families welcome" has been beneficial, although remnants of the fact that the hotel was originally adults-only remain (instead of a children's corner or games room, for example, there is a blasted playstation/nintendo game room). It is therefore not a typical hotel for families with small children. However, we didn't mind that, quite the opposite. We were able to have fun with our kids on the beaches, in town or just by the pool. The quadruple rooms are just the right size, amazingly comfortable and stylishly equipped with two bathrooms. The half board is of a high standard, with lots of local and fresh food, a great choice. The only minus could perhaps be the sweet Croatian post-mix juices as drinks. However, there is also water (even flavoured) + of course you can order anything from the nice and attentive waiters. The hotel's pool, facilities, plenty of sunbeds, clean towels, helpful, smiling staff, rental equipment, e-scooters or bikes, and boat taxis to various Rab beaches only underline the hotel's great service. Even though the holiday was more expensive, we don't regret the money, we were taken care of in a royal way for a week and the hotel lived up to its name "Imperial"... :-)"

"Wij vinden het hotel erg leuk! Zeer goede kwaliteit! Zeer aardig receptieteam, ook het hoofdrestaurantteam, altijd met een glimlach. Het restaurant is altijd schoon en het team heeft een perfecte snelheid bij het maken en schoonmaken van de tafel. Zeer lekker eten en mensen die het bereiden! Ook bedankt voor het strandbarteam! Zeer mooie plek Bedankt voor het animatieteam! Veel dingen voor kinderen voor verschillende leeftijden. Veel spelletjes, leuke optredens (geweldige illusionist die kinderen bij de voorstelling betrekt en ze wat magie laat uitproberen! Zeer aardige clown met perfect gevoel voor humor). Zeer mooi zwembadgedeelte en een perfect zwembad voor kinderen met een zeer mooie en veilige vloerbedekking. Zeer aardig team voor handdoekwissels! Zeer behulpzaam. Het enige wat we niet leuk vonden, is dat onze huishouding gedurende een verblijf van 8 dagen helemaal geen bedlijnen heeft veranderd, er is ook een waterkoker in de kamer, maar niemand voegt elke dag thee of koffie toe. En geen flessenwater in een kamer, maar je kunt gratis water met citroen gebruiken op het strand en in de sportschool. We komen zeker terug en zullen dit hotel aanbevelen aan onze vrienden!"

"The room was a shoe box, items in the room old and worn out. Bed was terrible. Don't waste your time. The insane price increase and what you get with customer service is appalling. Every time you went to reception no ever there and when you request something, nothing is actioned."

"I can hardly remember to a hotel which met my holiday expectations in a better way than the Valamar Carolina. It is located in a beautiful, green and silent part of the Rab island called Suha Punta next to a nice beach. Rooms are spacious & very comfortable and each has a sea view. Hotel is equipped with a fitness, spa center two infinite pools and several bars and restaurants. Food served within a halfboard was a story itself… breakfasts so as dinners were small culinary celebrations with variety of top quality dishes offered. Despite several months have passed since our returned home, the Valamar Carolina has remained in our memories as a perfect place for a lovely holiday."
