Hotel Badehaus Goor ★★★★

"Een rustig gelegen hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel – bij de receptie, aan de bar en bij het ontbijt. Er is voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel. De steden Binz, Sellin en andere zijn snel bereikbaar met de auto. Het nabijgelegen Putbus (de Witte Stad) is een must-see. Een hoogtepunt is het ontbijtbuffet, dat zo heerlijk en gevarieerd is. Wij hadden kamer 223. Er was geen airconditioning, maar het was ook niet te warm. Het zwakke punt was, naar onze mening, de badkamer en de douche. De schuifelementen van de douchecabine zaten vast en de douche zelf was niet erg groot. Ik ben van gemiddelde lengte, maar ik stootte steeds tegen de douchecabine. De ontbijtruimte is erg ruim en je kunt zelfs buiten ontbijten – met uitzicht op de Rügener Bodden."

"We were for a WE there. It is a well-located, modern and beautiful hotel. We were warmly welcomed, the staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and modern and cozy furnished. The beds are beautifully comfortable and equipped with good bedware. There was a new bottle of water every day and a capsule coffee machine was also ready. The view of water is very beautiful. This summer is probably more, but now in winter the quiet was really very nice. Breakfast is unslaughterable, I like the small glasses with the shrimps variations. Rooze, fruit, fresh breads, coffee specialties, fresh juice, salmon and cheese: all there! The parking is directly at the house and the restaurant in the hotel deserves an extra star! We have liked it very well! Thank you!"

"I made a mistake by not cancelling my reservation within the free cancellation period and I fully accept that. However, I immediately contacted the property, explained the circumstances and told them that I had been unable to travel because of the death of a close family member. I asked them simply to consider the situation and make an exception. Unfortunately, this did not seem to matter at all. The impression I was left with is that this company is much more interested in collecting cancellation fees than in showing any understanding or treating guests with basic human consideration. For me, this is an extremely disappointing way to deal with customers. I would never recommend this company to anyone and will certainly never book with them again."

"Kamer 55 had waterschade aan de muren en het plafond. Het diner werd niet geserveerd zoals op de menukaart stond, maar in een uitgeklede versie. Soep werd geserveerd met broodjes in plaats van stokbrood. De drankjes waren al een jaar over de datum. Het ijs met advocaat zat er niet in; we vroegen om meer en kregen een waterige oplossing. De salade was op smaak gebracht met yoghurt van het ontbijt. De goulash met pasta was oneetbaar. De koelkast was zo klein dat zelfs het kleine flesje water er niet in paste."
