"We recently stayed at the Maris Grand Hotel in Protaras as a family of three and had a truly wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how exceptionally clean and well-maintained the hotel was. Every area, from the rooms to the communal spaces, was spotless throughout our stay. The staff were one of the standout highlights. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure guests were looked after. Their genuine warmth made a real difference to our experience. In particular, Georgia, the Front Office Manageress who is so kind, helpful & always smiling and Ebru who worked at the splash park poolside bar – Must try her iced coffee…amazing!! Maria, Bill and their team were exceptional in the restaurant, always friendly, and polite whilst providing full professionalism at all times. The cleaning staff are simply amazing too! The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality throughout our stay. The Italian restaurant was a particularly lovely bonus and provided a fantastic alternative for a special evening meal. Our daughter absolutely loved the pool area and water slides, which provided hours of fun and entertainment. The facilities were great for families and helped make the holiday memorable for all of us. We visited during peak season in August, so naturally the hotel was very busy, particularly around the pool and main bar areas. Despite this, the atmosphere remained friendly and enjoyable. The only small suggestion we would make is that some background music in the evening bar area would help create a little more ambience after dinner. It was considerably cheaper than many hotels of a similar rating in the area, yet delivered far more than expected. Don't book expecting 5-star luxury, because that's not what it promises, but if you're looking for a great base, good facilities, and an unbeatable price-to-quality ratio, this hotel is absolutely brilliant. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend the Maris Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly holiday in Protaras. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we've already booked to return in October, which says everything about how highly we rate this hotel. "Het hotel was erg schoon en opgeruimd. Maar er zat geen heerlijkheid aan. Alles mega basic. De bedden betekent 10 dagen slecht slapen op beton. Wel boden ze een topper aan. Maar dit gaf nagenoeg niets. Iedere dag wakker worden met een gebroken lichaam. En wel 4 keer wakker omdat je lijf zeer doet. We waren met 2 gezinnen en we ervaarden dit allemaal het zelfde. Het eten is zeer matig. Het meeste is gefrituurt of in dikke sauzen. Alles is wel erg schoon! Het vers geroosterde vlees wat er prachtig uitziet is veel te ver doorgegaard. Dus 10 dagen een ommelet in de ochtend. Want dat maken ze vers en is heerlijk. En verder uiteten. Zwembaden schoon en goede lifegards die alles strak in de gaten houden. Toppers van personeel! We hadden een prachtige vakantie met de huurauto veel op pad."

"We were very happy with the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms nice and clean. The breakfast was good but could be better, especially fresh fruit salad and more bread varieties would be good. We can only recommend the Evalena. Price/performance is right."

"We really loved our stay at Adelais Bay Hotel! We were looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing, and this was just perfect. It’s in a lovely, quiet location, and the staff were absolutely wonderful — so friendly, welcoming and always happy to go the extra mile. Our room was clean, comfortable and perfectly good for what we needed. We had an all-inclusive stay and the food was always good, with plenty of choice at every (buffet style) meal. The pool area was lovely too, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and it was never too busy. One of our favourite things about the location was the coastline. There are lots of beautiful little beaches and bays within walking distance, and it’s a fantastic area for snorkelling. Konnos beach, where you have a good chance to spot turtles, is only a short bus ride away. 🐢🤿🌊 The bus stop is right outside the hotel, so it’s really easy to explore the area without a car. The busses are very convenient and run frequently — €2 for a single journey or €6 for a day ticket. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely come back. A peaceful hotel, lovely staff, good food and a beautiful coastline right on your doorstep. "What an absolute gem of a hotel in Cyprus. On arrival the fridge was stocked with soft drinks, water, beer, wine, sandwiches and pastries as we arrived late at night. Should be a 5 star establishment. I cannot praise all of the staff and the management highly enough. They go above and to make your holiday experience amazing. Friendly and approachable. The assistant manager Mr Flouris was exceptional and was visible daily around the hotel. We had a room with a private pool. The room was spacious with a fridge and small freezer. Iron, small ironing board and hair dryer are in the room. Coffee machine, microwave and kettle as well with all the supplies you need. They deliver water and soft drinks daily. Pastries were delivered every afternoon to the room. Our terrace had 4 sun loungers and two umbrellas. We had the sun all day. Air conditioning unit worked well. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and they added special touches to the room that day. The food was of a high quality. Different dishes daily and was cooked to a high standard. They continually top up the food during service. The hourly free bus service was a godsend. You can get dropped off in Protaras or at the beach and can return using this. We got a late check out room as our flight home was late at night. The room had a large terrace to soak up the last of the sun! Missing the hotel and the staff already. Will definitely be booking for next year. Keep up the good work. You are all amazing ."

"Wat ik kan zeggen, behalve perfect in elke manier van start tot eind, dit is onze eerste keer in dit hotel, maar het zal niet de laatste zijn. Recht van controle in het personeel kan niet genoeg voor u niets is veel problemen we hebben zeezicht kamer schoon tevreden huishouder zeer vriendelijk het eten is fantastisch kon niet mislopen van de maaltijden, het zwembad is goed kon niet mislukken het geen zonne-bed oorlogen hier Perfecte locatie voor de strip en ongeveer 7 stappen naar het strand, zal volgend jaar terug zijn"

"We keken heel erg uit naar de vakantie met ons gezin. Wanneer we toekwamen in het hotel werden we heel goed en vriendelijk ontvangen door het personeel aan de balie. Het was net na de middag en onze kamer was nog niet klaar maar we konden onze bagage even laten staan en direct aansluiten voor de lunch. Na de lunch was onze kamer klaar. De kamer was heel ruim en opgedeeld in twee ruimtes wat idedaal was voor ons gezin. De kamer was ook heel proper en alles was aanwezig. De algemene hygiëne in het hotel is zeer goed en hebben wij niets op aan te merken. Het eten was voortreffelijk! Altijd zeer lekker en vers. Heel veel typische griekse gerechten wat ik echt kon waarderen maar er is voor ieder wat wils. Het personeel in het restaurant is echt heel vriendelijk en alles gebeurd met een glimlach. Top! Het was soms wel heel druk in het restaurant. Proper en aangenaam zwembad. Ook meestal heel druk maar wij gingen liever naar de zee. Ook de stranden in de omgeving zijn heel druk maar daarom zochten wij een rustigere plaats in een baai net iets verder. Ook aan de poolbar en in alle bars van het hotel was het personeel super vriendelijk. De all-in formule was ook top! Inbegrepen in de all-inclusive mochten we éénmaal eten in het a la carte restaurant. Daar was het zeer lekker en verfijnd eten! Ook zeker een aanrader! Het hotel is gelegen in het centrum van Protaras. Als je echt een rustig hotel zoekt is dit misschien niet ideaal maar voor ons was het eens leuk om in het centrum te zijn mits wij tijdens andere reizen meestal wat de rustigere hotels opzoeken. Na het uitchecken konden we onze bagage veilig opbergen in een afgesloten ruimte en kregen we een ruimte aangeboden om ons achter te douchen en klaar te maken voor vertrek. Kortom hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit hotel en kunnen wij het alleen maar aanraden. Heel proper, vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam personeel, lekker eten,... Bedankt voor het aangename verblijf."

"Hotel is mooi gelegen, dichtbij het strand en het centrum. De kamer voldeed aan alle verwachtingen. All inclusive was perfect geregeld. Er werd heel goed rekening gehouden met glutenvrij eten. Hier werden elke maaltijden alle opties aangeboden die er waren en als extra kon je speciale gerechten aanvragen zoals pizza’s en desserts, waardoor je niet eens last van sporen had, maar wel heerlijk eten aangeboden kreeg. De entertainment crew was heel gezellig en enthousiast, net zoals de barmannen en vrouwen. Al met al een top vakantie gehad, alles klopte en wij zouden het zeker aanbevelen."
