"We’ll start with the positives. The food was very good, with a great selection at both breakfast and dinner and plenty of meat and vegetarian options. The restaurant staff were lovely, including the restaurant manager. A special thank you to Katheryn, who always greeted us with a warm smile and was very helpful. The maître d’ welcoming guests into the restaurant was also very sweet. We also appreciated the hardworking cleaning staff and the helpful lady on reception, Annabelle, I believe, as well as a gentleman whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. The hotel is in a quiet location and has a pool, access to two beaches, a good-sized gym and a spa, although we didn’t use the spa. There is a bus stop nearby, along with a Spar and several other shops and restaurants. The evening entertainment was also excellent. Unfortunately, there were several negatives. Some members of the reception team were abrupt and overly formal. At times, arriving at reception felt more like entering a solicitor’s waiting room than being welcomed to a holiday hotel. They were not the best people to have fronting the hotel or welcoming visitors to Mallorca. We were also disappointed that guests had to pay to use the safe and to have beach towels changed. On half-board, the only drinks included with dinner were still or sparkling water. The food labelling was poor, which could be particularly concerning for guests with allergies or dietary requirements. Non-hotel guests also regularly walked through the hotel grounds to access the beach. The air conditioning throughout the hotel was quite weak, and the fridge in our room wasn’t cold enough to keep drinks and food properly chilled. The space between the bed and the desk was also very narrow, meaning we had to turn sideways to get through. Overall, the hotel has some excellent facilities, good food and several wonderful members of staff, but there are a number of areas that need improvement. For these reasons, we would rate our stay three stars."
