"Het hotel ligt op een geweldige locatie, op loopafstand van diverse bezienswaardigheden en is ideaal voor restaurants en winkels. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in een restaurant aan de overkant van de straat en bestaat uit een simpele keuze uit één gerecht van de menukaart en een kopje koffie of thee. De kamer was klein en het meubilair was slecht geplaatst, waardoor het oncomfortabel was. Het hotel is niet erg kosteneffectief en wordt niet aanbevolen."

"Het hotel is oversized met een casinozwembad en een fitnessruimte, maar het is een beetje oud en bestaat nog steeds uit insteekkaarten. De toegangskaart werkt vaak niet. Je moet betalen om naar de fitnessruimte te gaan. De obers waren arroganter, niet erg vrolijk en niet erg bereid om te bedienen. Het ontbijt is goed."

"Based on my experience, this is quite a conscientious boutique hotel. Perhaps its smaller size allows for such attention to detail. If I had to mention one regret, it would be the lack of variety in the breakfast. The menu was exactly the same for all four days of my stay, which inevitably got a bit tiresome. Also, the parking lot is a short distance from the hotel, and I wonder if the security measures could be a bit more modern. It seems there are no preventive measures in place should something unfortunate happen to a vehicle or other issue."

"Eerlijk gezegd was dit mijn eerste keer in een DoubleTree by Hilton en ik kan zeggen dat het een onvergetelijke en perfecte ervaring was! De locatie is fantastisch! Slechts 5 minuten lopen naar de oude stad/het stadscentrum. De inrichting van het hotel is modern en comfortabel. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, heerlijk en gevarieerd. De faciliteiten van het hotel, zoals de fitnessruimte, de spa en de sauna, zijn super ontspannend, vooral na een lange reis. De kamers zijn brandschoon en ruim. Het personeel was behulpzaam en beleefd, met name Gabriella verdient een pluim. Als je vanaf het bus-/treinstation van Plovdiv komt, neem dan buslijn 26 of 7. De prijs was prima voor de geboden service. Ik beveel DoubleTree by Hilton van harte aan en ik kan niet wachten om terug te komen en mijn Hilton-momenten opnieuw te beleven. Het enige wat ik miste waren de toiletartikelen zoals tandpasta, tandenborstel, etc., maar verder was alles fantastisch!"

"We hadden een comfortabele kamer met veel warm water in de douche, op loopafstand van het station en het centrum. Er waren veel gedeelde voorzieningen zoals een keukenzone met koffie/thee (gebeurtenissen), een zithoek en een roken. We vonden de opgegeven wasmachine niet en er was geen koelkast in de kamer. Er was geen receptie, en communicatie re vroeg check in en/of zak dropping was moeilijk. De toiletruimte was altijd nat omdat er geen afzonderlijke doucheruimte of douchegordel was."

"Amazing rooms, amazing breakfast ! You feel welcome the moment you arrive."

"This is a large hotel, located somewhat far from the city center, so having a car is advisable (if not essential) to get there. On the other hand, it has free parking right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for coming and going, although the first time you arrive it's a bit confusing since there's a barrier and nowhere does it indicate that it's the hotel's parking lot. You have to take a ticket and drive through as if it were a public parking lot, and then at reception they validate the ticket each time so you can leave without having to pay. The hotel is in a tall, large building with a "Soviet" style aesthetic, lacking any charm, despite being quite nice. The same was true of the room: very large, functional, it had everything necessary, it was on a high floor with a view... but without any charm! The hotel was half empty, if not almost completely empty, which also seemed strange. The staff were very polite, but lacked initiative. For example, upon arrival we asked about the pool, and they showed us where it was, but when we went down to swim, they told us it was already closed for maintenance at 6 pm... in the middle of August! Even so, the best thing about the hotel, at least in summer, is undoubtedly the pool (which is why we chose it, as it was very hot at midday). There were few people there, and the surroundings were rather unattractive, although the pool itself was huge and very pleasant. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. On the second day, we were the only couple at a table in the dining room, and they served us breakfast à la carte because they hadn't even set up the buffet. I suppose it was because there weren't enough guests. The overall impression was that the hotel was operating at half capacity, or as if it were about to close soon, or perhaps not, but a hotel of this size with so few guests gave a somewhat sad and run-down feel. In short, it's a good place to stay while visiting Plovdiv, if you have a car or other means of transport, but it lacks any real charm."

"Het hotel zelf is niet slecht. Het personeel bij de receptie was echter onverschillig. Ze gaven ons een erg lawaaierige kamer en hebben die vervolgens niet omgewisseld. We zijn de volgende nachten naar een ander hotel gegaan."
