"Excellent place! Beautifully decorated with great attention to detail — from the welcoming water and cookies to the excellent coffee and delightful ambiance with a gentle perfume. The modern bathroom offers many amenities, making the stay extra comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious homemade crêpes, local bread, and fresh fruit, along with other fresh treats. We truly enjoyed the interesting conversations with our fellow guests and with Ghislain, the friendly owner. We highly recommend this place!"

"We had a huge room with separate bedroom. The super king bed was very comfortable and the linen was of good quality. There was also a second room with twin beds. All of the furnishings and carpets appeared new and of a high standard. The room overlooked a quiet courtyard with views of an Abbey. The electric shutters were welcome for keeping out the early morning sun. The owner/chef presented innovative and tasty meals and breakfast was good value. The hotel is easily accessible and close to many restaurants and bars. The town centre has undergone a renovation and it was great to explore the old town. The large lake at the edge of the town has boating, fishing and a wide 14 km long foot/cycle path. This is a great place to stay and explore the wider area. All of the staff speak English if required."
