The Inn at Loch Tummel

"The Inn at Loch Tummel is located on the roadside overlooking the loch. It has fabulous views across the loch and surrounding hills especially in the beautiful weather we had. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was very good. We slept well in the comfortable bed. There are no tvs in the hotel. We ate breakfast (twice) and dinner (once). Breakfast was very good and dinner was good. Our choice at dinner was restricted by lack of availability. Service all round was good and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We would go back."

"Excellent central location for visiting local attractions with superb friendly hosts Mark and Helen. Nothing was a problem and they accommodated everyone's needs with a warm welcome and superb quality breakfasts. Rooms were very clean and spacious and we would highly recommend a stay here. Restaurants,cafes and bars are all within a short distance, however small hills to take into account if anyone has walking issues."

"De locatie is in een prachtige positie vlak na het meer. De Lodge waar we blijven is enorm en heeft indrukwekkende uitzichten over het meer. De Lodge is schoon en modern met grote badkamers. Elke slaapkamer heeft uitzicht op het meer. We zullen zeker terug zijn!"

"I thought I had already written a review but for some reason it did not appear. Stayed here 2 weeks ago. Never been before. Really lovely front facing room with lovely views across to the hills surrounding Pitlochry. Bed was exquisite with plump pillows. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Only stayed for one night as I was travelling north. Would definitely stay again."

"Een mooi verblijf met een upgrade naar een huisje, snel en efficiënt geregeld. Dit was een reis in de eer van een jaarlijkse expeditie voor mijn laat vrouw Caroline en ik naar het gebied Pitlochry voor de herfst. Caroline wilde altijd in de mooie huizen blijven, dus het was lot en haar glans die de upgrade hielp. Voedsel is ongelooflijk en een breed scala aan keuzes, samen met fantastische, vriendelijke service en drankjes. Zeer goed te eten en bij de rivier zitten in warmer tijden. Ook een verschrikkelijk ontbijt. De kamer was ruime en warm. Ze zijn niet nieuw, dus je moet toestaan dat er een paar scherpe ruimtes en layouts. Het was leuk om die ruimte te ontspannen. Port Na Craig is een 10/15m wandeling van de stad over de suspensiebrug of de dam. Het is een mooie wandeling, maar wees voorzichtig bij water. Pitlochry is een prachtige stad die Caroline en ik al jaren hebben genoten en ik zal haar blijven eerbiedigen door het bezoek. Dankzij het Port Na Craig team dat ik zo welkom ben en voor de prosecco voor Caroline."

Pitlochry Youth Hostel

"This was a great hostel - clearly one of the more recently invested-in in the Hostelling Scotland family. There is limited staff but all very friendly! Check in is at 4.30 and the hostel isn’t accessible to arrivals before that time, so that might be a hinderance for some people. The room was very clean with a very nice en-suite bathroom (although there are communal bathrooms for other rooms). Full kitchen with four ovens available for guest use and good basic cold breakfast for £6ish. The hostel is located on a hill that can be a pain to walk up but the views of the hills are worth it! Will definitely return on another visit to the Festival theatre"
