"Nice modern room in fabulous old house. My room was at the rear of the house. Side view of garden. And away from traffic noise from the front. Unfortunately you can hear and feel the trains as they rattle through Pitlochry. Part of The Westlands Hotel now, so the reception is in The Westlands which is not obvious. Plus breakfast is served for both properties there as well. Which does get crowded and busy, and a self service buffet. On the whole good parking, 3 min walk into Town Centre. And really nicely appointed rooms. Disappointingly those poxy trains spoil the whole "sleeping thing!" at 06.00 am."

"Mark en Helen waren prachtige gasten met een warm welkom, comfortabele gesprek, en een rijke wijsheid voor het gebied. Carra Little is mooi met een grote mix van gemeenschappelijke ruimte en privacy. De extra's zoals complimentaire karotenkak en havens en sherry, chocolade en comfortabele slippers in onze kamer, en de gemakkelijke logistiek, hebben onze ervaring opgeheven. De kamers waren spotloos en er is duidelijke zorg en passie voor de gasten ervaring. Het ontbijt was geweldig - comfortabele sfeer, een geweldige toastmachine (je bent welkom Mark!), en veel opties van exquisite champignons tot verse zalm tot schreeuwende zuurstof. Onze kamer heeft onze eigen verwarmingscontroles, tv, suite badkamer, en pijpen galore. Soms nemen we deze dingen voor toegewezen, maar Carra Little biedt deze en meer. Als u een paar dagen in Pitlochry doorbrengt of gewoon doorgaat, zouden we zeer aanbevelen om hier te boeken."

"Beautiful location. Very comfortable clean rooms. Great welcome. Beer/beer garden excellent. Food very tasty but waitress could do with some help. Quiet. Log fire in the lounge very welcoming. Breakfast good and served with a smile. One walk from the hotel quite long but worthwhile. Roadside walking looks risky as no path. Good value but not cheap"

"We are staying here right now and have to say that this Inn is amazing. We had a wonderful warm welcome and everyone has been friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable with a superking size bed plus another single if needed. Two sofas and spacious. The view of the river from the bedroom is stunning. The food is delicious, from the breakfast to the evening meals. This is a very popular place for good reason. We heartily recommend this Inn and will definitely return!"

Port Na Craig Inn

"A lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated."

Cuil-An-Daraich Guest House

"So…. I booked this hotel for New Year’s Eve until the second of Jan, via *******. Payment was not due until day of arrival. No cancellation fee. I emailed the guest house to explain that due to a sudden bereavement in the family that I would be unable to attend and to cancel my booking. The guest house explained I would have to cancel with ******* as the booking was through them. So I made the cancellation on the morning of the 27 Nov and later that day the full payment was taken out of my bank by the guest house. ******* have been in touch with the guest house and had no response and they were also told that there was no one there to answer the queries., I’m still waiting for a response from both parties as to why my money was taken in full after cancellation and more so if payment was not due to be made. In the meantime I’m 267 pounds out of pocket so near Xmas and after losing a family member. Can not believe the audacity of both. Although ******* have been more helpful than the guest house."
