"De service en veiligheid waren verschrikkelijk. We waren nog niet eens uitgecheckt toen onze kamer nog niet beschikbaar was. En het management deed niets, behalve de situatie verergeren. Ze kwamen zonder toestemming onze kamer binnen en maakten het alleen maar erger, waardoor we ons onveilig voelden in onze geboekte kamer. Een vreselijke ervaring. De kamers waren niet schoon genoeg. Zelfs nadat er fouten waren gemaakt, maakten ze het alleen maar erger, zonder excuses en lieten ze ons met een vreselijk gevoel achter."

"Het Château de Fere ligt op een fantastische locatie ten oosten van Parijs, tussen Château Thierry, Reims en Soisson, vlakbij de ruïnes van een 13e-eeuws fort, die vanuit het hotel te bezoeken zijn. Ik koos dit hotel vanwege de nabijheid van Belleau Wood. Ik verbleef één nacht in de Prestige Suite. De kamer was ruim. Het zijn eigenlijk twee kamers. Er is de slaapkamer direct bij de ingang en een gecombineerde woon- en badkamer op een mezzanine. Het restaurant serveerde goed eten en de bar had een gevarieerde drankkaart. Het hotel beschikt echter niet over airconditioning en het water voor de douche werd 's ochtends niet warm. Er is geen lift naar de bovenverdiepingen."

Dit is echt schandalig De omgeving is mooi, maar de wandelroute is erg klein, ongeveer een halve cirkel rond het hotel Het ontbijt is ook heel eenvoudig, alleen eieren, worstjes, brood, fruit, geen salade, geen omelet, thee en koffie zijn goed Bekers, kussens en handdoeken voldoen allemaal aan de Intercontinentale normen. De haardroger heeft een unieke stijl, maar is zo zwaar als een baksteen. Je moet hem de hele tijd ingedrukt houden, waardoor het erg vermoeiend is om lang haar te föhnen. Niet aanbevolen"

"Deze Bed & Breakfast ligt 40 km van de A1 en het is het zeker waard om die 40 km te rijden!! Mooi ingerichte kamers met veel oog voor detail, Vriendelijke en gastvrije gastheren die meedenken. We kwamen door verkeersdrukte vrij laat aan en de eigenaar vroeg of we al iets geregeld hadden met avondeten en hielp ons daarmee. Gegeten in de tuin. Heerlijk geslapen en sochtends een uitgebreid ontbijt! Wat ook fijn is als je op doorreis bent, het terrein is afgesloten dus veilig parkeren."

Het meest verontrustende is de klantensnijdigheid: we hebben onbescheiden discussies en oordelen door de buurlanden in het restaurant ondergaan. Sorry dat de standing van de plaats niet altijd in het kennis van de gasten keratines is gevonden"

"Stayed with a group of 31 people. Location is perfect lovely surroundings and ideal for walking into the centre. The Double room was clean and well maintained. Stayed for dinner on one night only. We should have stayed for more. Bar service on the patio and in the bar. lowest 5.5 ABV. Cava sold with ice buckets. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Weather was beautiful. Coach parking was close as there is one bay near to the front of hotel. A lot of staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful which made our stay special. Visited the Memorial to the Missing in the town ( get the gate code to be able to gain full access). We also visited the Chemin des Dames, Caverne du Dragon, Le Musee Memorial de L'Armistice at Compeigne. Would stay here again"

"The hotel's location is particularly convenient for travelers with luggage, right next to the train station and just over 10 minutes from attractions like the cathedral. Breakfast is generous, with both hot and cold options. The room size is acceptable, but the showerhead only sprays a mist, seemingly just a light mist, and the temperature is low, making showering very cold in winter."

"We stayed at Le Picardy hotel for one night on the way back from Strasbourg and it was below expectations. Following is the summary of the good and not so good points of the hotel/apartments. The good: 1) The staff were extremely good and helpful. From the team at reception to the staff at the restaurant, everyone was customer oriented and ready to help. 2) The parking was conveniently located across the street in front of the hotel. 3) On site restaurant for a convenient meal especially if you've had a long day. The food was ok too. 4) Pet friendly rooms and public areas. The not so good: 1) The rooms and bathroom was extremely dated. The lighting was not sufficient and didn't cover enough of the areas in the room. 2) The air conditioner was noisy like an old truck and kept stopping in the middle of the night even after we put it to max speed leaving the room warm. 3) Breakfast was abysmal. Don't understand how they justify charging €12 each for just bread, croissants and eggs (no sausages, bacon or any hot meats). The coffee machine dispensing the a single type of coffee and juices from a box. 4) Think the room was prepared in a hurry as there was no toilet tissue, no hand wash or a soap to clean hands. The kettle doesn't switch on so no hot water for a coffee in the morning. 5) We booked a room with City view and the city view was someone else's living room. 6) Believe the star system for hotels is not working properly in this case as the room was not fit even for a 2 star but the hotel is rated 4 star per the plaque in front. Think the bad points go above the good service by the staff here so can only give a one star."

"Beautifully renovated chateau, idyllic setting, lovely extensive gardens, spacious room, plenty of parking - BUT considering we booked an advertised disabled access room in the nearby stable block, the hotel has not given any thought to how a disabled person is supposed to access the main chateau to have breakfast, to enjoy a drink on the terrace or to eat an evening meal. Despite clearly spending a lot of money renovating the chateau, the stable block, building a huge terrace and basement function room at the rear of the chateau and not skimping on fixtures or fittings, there is no lift or ramp even though a side extension with a huge staircase has also been built so able-bodied guests can access the ground floor, terrace and basement without going up the main chateau steps. It was therefore disappointing not to be told this upon checking in - and even worse to only find out in the morning when it was time for breakfast. However, knowing our predicament as my Mother can only use a wheelchair, a staff member still had to be prompted to lay the table outside the room and to help me get the very limited breakfast that was available across the garden and courtyard so at least my Mother had something to eat and drink with her medication. As lovely as it was sitting outside on a summer's morning before the sun got too hot, it spoilt an otherwise tranquil setting. However, when we ordered just a croque-monsieur about 7.30pm as that's about all the staff member said he could do, it took nearly an hour to be brought to our room even though there was only one table of 4 guests eating that evening which he seemed to be more focused on. On the second night, the same meal was brought within 15 minutes by a different staff member, served with a smile and some water thoughtfully accompanied it. On the second morning, breakfast was again a disappointment and I had to wait to even get the coffee machine working as there were hardly any staff around again - so I hope Heloise the owner takes all this on board and positively addresses it as these shortcomings really let the hotel down."
