"Our stay was pleasant and memorable. This was our first stay in Sicily. Frontdwsk was helpful in arranging transfers from the airport and we arrived at the B&B quickly and safely just after midnight. We did not expect 1 flight of stairs and struggled a bit with our luggage. The lights along the corridor turned off quickly so you should standby lights from the phone.. overall, we really liked our stay as the location was perfect! Every attraction was within walking distance and the town was wonderful. Oh yes, breakfast across the street in the best cafe was charming too. Really loved our stay!!"

"Lees de afdruk en alles zal perfect zijn. Ik heb een dag vooruit getexteerd wat mijn reisroute was. Gianlucca was er om me te verwelkomen. Hij zorgde dat ik alles wist wat ik moest weten en meer! Hij liet me zien wat te zien en waar te gaan! Met dit inzicht heb ik veel van de stad gezien. Ik heb een lijst van restaurants en dergelijke, en alle aanbevolen plaatsen waren verbazingwekkend."

"Not a hotel, more like a Bnb with limited service October 2025 We booked Mia Terra expecting a hotel — but it turned out to be more of a one-man bed and breakfast. From the start, nothing went smoothly. We had decided to take up the host’s offer of an airport shuttle (not cheap), as one of us only had one evening in Palermo and every minute counted. The shuttle arrived 15 minutes late, and when we finally reached the property, no one was there to check us in, causing yet another delay — even though the host had personally arranged our transport and knew our arrival time. The host then offered excuses that didn’t line up with the shuttle driver’s story (which btw, the driver didn’t even know our destination — we had to guide him — and only accepted cash, which we weren’t told in advance.) Check-in was confusing and disorganized. Despite several text messages from the host to confirm our room setup (which should have been clear from the booking), he had still assigned the wrong rooms and once again found excuses, incorrectly blaming the booking platform. When we asked him to fix it, he was reluctant but eventually agreed — behaving as if he were doing us a favor — though he did offer free breakfast as compensation, which we didn’t need. Since there is no staff at the property. The host promised to respond to messages “within minutes,” yet replies often took hours. The whole experience felt like a single person trying to run a hotel alone — and it shows. To be fair, the rooms were clean and comfortable, although in one of them, the shower faced the bedroom through a glass wall, so you had to shower in the dark for privacy. Overall, the service and professionalism fell far short of hotel standards. If you’re expecting the reliability of an actual hotel, look elsewhere."

"Uitstekend faciliteit en locatie. Dienst weinig meer dan voldoende; geen contact van de gast voor aankomst met de toegangsaanwijzingen en details van het appartement. Geen antwoord op pre-aankomst verzoeken, gratis WiFi zonder bescherming. Host was cmq beschikbaar om ons een late check-out van 30 minuten later en houd de koffers tot de middag. Laat helemaal niets in het voertuig als geplaatst in die wijk."

"I still have an ear worm from the continuous whining of beach sellers. IT'S sandy, all the way from promenade to the warm aquamarine sea. It is littered with bits of plastic, cigarette ends and the occasional discarded beer bottle. You wont be left alone to relax, somebody will stand next to you evrey 10 minutes asking you to buy trinkets, drinks, very nice double bed sized' throws' or a massage (the only happy ending available is when the sun goes and so do they) There is a great place to round off your days tanning, The 'Touring Café Beach' on Viale Regina Elena Excellent food Nicely Priced and enhanced by pleasant service.
