"This hotel is a little gem in the heart of the city. Hotel location is perfect only a five minute walk to the four corners. Staff are super friendly and attentive honestly would do anything for you. We had booked half board as it came as part of the package but only ate in the hotel the first night as wanted to try different places but this was a mistake as the meal in the hotel was by far the nicest meal we had. Will definitely be back to this hotel anytime we visit Palermo."

"Do not book!! Worst experience ever. After a 24 h train ride, pregnant and tired we arrived to the b&b where we booked and got the check in time confirmed by the owner. They let us know that the room wasn’t ready and we agreed to go out for breakfast in the meantime. Before we could even leave, the owner started fighting with me about my alleged attitude when I tried to explain im just pregnant and tired. His wife came in out the blue telling me im not the only pregnant women in the world and that I need to “behave”. He then proceeded to chase me out to the elevator, shouting and screaming at me, making ****** remarks because “his house, his rules”. We basically got attacked and threatened at this place. Ive never felt so violated before. Be safe!!!"

"De algemene ervaring bij BB22 was aanvaardbaar. De locatie in de centrale stad was geweldig voor toegangslocaties in Palermo. Het personeel was handig en de accommodaties waren net zoals aangekondigd. De gemeenschappelijke gebieden, gedeeld met andere gasten, waren schoon en werkte zoals verwacht. Alleen een belangrijk probleem was de slechte WiFi-dekking in onze kamer. We zijn afhankelijk van WiFi wanneer we reizen, het werkte in de gemeenschappelijke gebieden, maar we konden niet in onze kamer verbinding maken."

"I found many things that were wrong starting from the bed for my son when I booked it clearly said a double bed plus a bed and in reality it was a camp bed with a 10 cm mattress then the breakfast as it said in the presentation was to be done on the terrace in reality if you do it from 6 to 9 you have to go to a bar (the managers wanted a ticket that was not provided to us and moreover we had to pay for the coffees separately because they were not included in the breakfast and they were also rude) otherwise from 9 to 10 on the terrace (we only went one day and basically it was a very poor breakfast) not to mention the parking lot which we found occupied and almost arguing with the black guy who managed it to have a little space in another place almost as a form of courtesy."

"We found this B&B by sheer luck. We had left the other b&b near la vucceria due to excessive noise (we had paid for the week and were not refunded). The location of Maison Butera is excellent, the best we've had and we have been to Palermo several times. The owner Sylvia was very helpful, getting us accommodation without booking in advance, the housekeeper was also extremely helpful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend them and the property for great location, breakfast and a good night's sleep! We needed further accommodation as well and Sylvia obliged with this as well. The view of ships coming into the harbour daily from the room is superb, highly recommend."
