"Le Stanze di Cardinale is een prachtige plek/locatie om te blijven terwijl u Pavia en de omliggende omgeving ontdekt. Het is gelegen in het centrum van de stad op de Duomo-plein van de stad. Restaurants, locaties en het treinstation zijn op loopafstand. In Pavia ligt u centraal om een trein naar Milaan voor een dagreis of zelfs streken naar Genoa te nemen. De enige uitdaging kan zijn om een auto te parkeren, we gebruiken de treinen en vrienden, dus ik ben niet zeker. Paolo kan zeker informatie verstrekken, hij is een vriendelijk, welkom en een handige gastheer. Onze kamer was ruime, comfortabel en altijd schoon. Mijn vrouw en ik komen uit Amerika om vrienden te bezoeken die in Pavia wonen en ergens anders overwegen te blijven."

"For my first visit to Pavia, I chose to stay at Hotel Moderno. This was a unique experience for me. Rather than walking across the pedestrianized Centro Storico, I could actually see Hotel Moderno across the Piazza. It is only a few minutes walk into the pedestrianized portion of the centro storico. My room was comfortable and as shown in photographs. The front reception staff was friendly and useful. Prima colazine was generous. As I am always looking for opportunities to improve my spoken Italian, I was given the chance to roam about a large Italian supermarket just a fgew blocks away. If I return to pvia , Hotel Moderno would be my choice for accomodation again"

"Hotel rooms are small with no sound proof walls or sealing. Hotel is ok if you want stay for few nights, on side is free parking. If you in Pavia compare to other hotels is ok but is in remote location so you need to have a transportation, if not find hotel in central part of Pavia"

"I don't recommend it for non-smokers. The rooms smell strongly of cigarettes, the bathroom and facilities don't work properly, and you have to pay extra for air conditioning, which is very far away and quite expensive. The only good thing is the staff's attention; they were very friendly, even though the address on the reservation wasn't the correct one, and I waited 40 minutes for them to open the door."
