"This is a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel in Pavia. The entrance from the street and stairs gives no inkling of the luxury and character of what is behind the door. A very helpful receptionist showed us our upgraded room which was large and furnished with antiques and a modern bathroom. The whole building has been carefully restored around an atrium, together with a terrace. Nothing was too much trouble to make us feel welcome. The tasty breakfast was served in a large lounge with piano and harp. The final touch was the receptionist arranging and paying for the taxi to get us back to the car park outside the TVL. All in all an unexpectedly great stay in a city not often visited."

"De accommodatie in pavia is niet overvloedig en we waren blij om dit centraal gelegen B&B te boeken. Het was schoon en in een historisch gebouw in een prachtige centrale plein. Ontbijt was pasta en koffie in de mooie cafe over het plein. Het bed was comfortabel, hoed-kwaliteitsbladen en de kamer goed uitgerust met haardroger, koelkast, ketel, enz. Het uitzicht was prachtig en ondanks de centrale locatie was opmerkelijk rustig. Er waren een paar negatieve, niet minder dan de vele vluchten van smalle trappen om de kamer te bereiken, de ingewikkelde uitgangen vereisten. Waarom niet gebruiken de hoofddeur? De badkamer was arm en in onderhoud behoefde. Ik heb met name de gebroken douchedeur gezien. Ik weet niet zeker of de complexiteit van het bed decoratie iets toevoegt aan de kamer. De kamers zijn net als bij de foto's en zal niet iedereen passen."

The rooms smell strongly of cigarettes, the bathroom and facilities don't work properly, and you have to pay extra for air conditioning, which is very far away and quite expensive.
