GGrace Ridnour-NollschGorgeous boutique hotel with staff that goes above and beyond. The heir of the estate actually greets guests and ensures they have a pleasant stay. We only got to stay for one night, but they upgraded our room and allowed us to enjoy the pool as we arrived early and they needed time to get the room ready. It is worth the price.

TTwinriverIk verbleef een maand in januari 2024 in Residence Inn Merida. Ik was erg tevreden over de locatie en de service. Het ligt vlakbij de Galleria Mall, Costco en een grote supermarkt. Je kunt bus R72 nemen naar het centrum van Merida, wat erg handig is als je geen auto hebt of niet wilt rijden. De kamer is schoon en voorzien van een complete keuken. Het ontbijt is inbegrepen. Het personeel bij de receptie is ook behulpzaam. Ze hebben ons geholpen met het regelen van twee privédagtrips naar Maya-sites en cenotes. Het enige wat ik zou aanraden, is de kwaliteit te verbeteren en meer keuzemogelijkheden aan het ontbijt toe te voegen. Er zijn niet veel verschillende ontbijtvarianten. De koelkast maakt 's nachts een beetje lawaai.

GGastgebruikerGreat place for stays in Merida! It is a bit far from most restaurants. If you stay there make sure to eat at Spanglish. It is a bit hard to find as it is within another restaurant but it was great. Also make sure to look up the Walmart. It’s close. Great for buying water.

JJustStephZoals vroeger, werd een echt juweel voor deze prijs zeer aanbevolen.
We hebben ons verblijf verlengd omdat we het hier zo graag, het is perfect om te ontspannen.
En we missen het grote comfortabele bed.

GGastgebruikerHorrible service! They first gave us to a room which was fine upon entering but then we saw people’s clothes and shoes. We went back to reception. She said that her colleague made mistake and gave our room away to someone else without putting in the system. She gave us another room which was smelly like hell! I asked her to change or refund. She said its the only room left and she knows its smelly and she was sorry but she couldn’t do anything. She could only put us to another room the next day. She also refused to compensate. It was midnight. We had no local sim card so had no choice but to stay. At night there was lots of noise from boiler/machine so we couldn’t sleep. It ruined our holiday. They changed us to a different room next day but refused to compensate. We had to suffer at our own cost! The location is god and the room after changed was fine. But they made us suffer for their mistake yet refused to compensate! Such a shame for a hotel to behave like this! So if you don’t want surprise or ruin your holiday, try to avoid this hotel!

NNikkilaoshiService was great we arrived almost 8pm. Be aware we did not stay at the address listed but there are 3 properties 2 mins walking to each other. We arrived at the address and there was a sign with a number to call or contact on WhatsApp. They answered quickly and came to get us and our luggage to checkin at the main building then led us to the other (3rd location). Our room room was small but clean. The pool in our building was the biggest but there was leaves inside looked unmaintained but not gross…fairly clean. There was a little “kitchen” with a fridge and microwave and coffee maker which looked like it hasn’t been used in a long time before getting to the pool…there were 2 sets of chairs at the pool. Now at the main building the complimentary continental breakfast was fruit, yogurt, granola, and coffee. The optional buffet was 190 pesos and WELL worth it many options and delicious. The main building pol was very cute and we loved the complimentary “steam bath” which is a steam room with shower heads…need to let them know 10 mins before to preheat it. They also helped arrange our excursion to cenotes which was cheaper than we saw elsewhere. We communicated thru WhatsApp no complaints I’d stay here again….we struggled with hot water often it was lukewarm but apparently that’s a thing in this area. It’s close enough to the popular area called “centro” about a 25 min walk and 10 mins to the US consulate

However, one issue that should really be addressed is the large number of dengue mosquitoes, especially around the pool area.

GGastgebruikerThe pool is nice and the hotel is located a few blocks away from the main attractions in downtown. The best part of this experience was the hotel staff. They were extra helpful and kind. Always ready to help in whatever you need. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness in the room. There was dust in some parts of the room and the sheets weren't very clean. They didn't change them. Also, the pillows aren't comfortable. But the rest of the hotel is not bad at all for the price. I slept well, the ac works well. I would stay there again.
