Hotels met spa in Kodagu

"Resort was far better than seen in the pictures. Excellent experience. Great location. Peaceful atmosphere, amidst nature. Spacious rooms. Wide selection of breakfast with great service. Staff member from baking section Ms Paulami was very courteous, helpful and friendly. All staff were nice and services were great. Checkin and checkout was smooth."

"We spent just one night at Evolve Back Coorg but it was a wonderful experience that we will remember fondly! We loved the candlelight dinner at Peppercorn restaurant. The food, ingredients and service were all top notch. Breakfast at the Plantain Leaf restaurant was also delicious. A variety of hot dosas made to order followed by excellent tea and coffee. Though we were unable to take part in many planned activities, we did enjoy feeding the fish and the coffee tasting session. Special mention to every staff member right from the reservations team to the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping - your service and attention to detail was superb! Thank you for a truly great stay!"

"Amazing place to relax and spend time Staff is very courteous Rooms are very luxurious Food is good quality and have amazing options in breakfast"

"Can improve customer service"

"We had a lovely stay at this resort. Best is to have a car to get here. The hotel was very beautiful and lots of greenery. Breakfast was awesome with lots of local cuisine to try. The service was impeccable and of a high standard. The room was large and enough for 3 of us including our teenage child. Everyone was kind and nice. The nature specialist Harish gave us a wonderful talk on kodava people (local folks) and about elephants. He was very knowledgeable and we did this over a bonfire which was lovely. The pool should be warmer during the cooler weather in the evenings especially if temperature control is available. The check in staff were nice but they tried to upsell an upgraded room when we didn’t really need one. We have stayed at countless Mariott properties worldwide and this was the first time someone tried to sell us an upgraded room which I felt was wrong considering that we fit comfortably in our booked room. If u want to upgrade u should provide it as complimentary otherwise don’t try to see something on false pretext as they said we may not be comfortable in our existing booking. Also the bed sheets need to be cleaned better as there were lots of stains. Cleanliness needs to be improved. Apart from this the stay was wonderful and we had a great time. Thanks to all the staff from check in to the buggy drivers to the valet drivers to the breakfast staff. The housekeeping also had a special welcome treat and welcome design in our room. And so kind of the restaurant staff to provide a goodbye cake."

"The property was quite big with multiple activities that kept my kid busy and happy. The rooms were spacious enough and clean. The disappointing factor was the food! There are no nearby restaurants so we're forced to have all the meals at the in-resort restaurant. We tried many dishes over the course of 2days and every single dish managed to be below average. Even a roadside darshini serves better food. Additionally, the prices are exorbitant. 450Rs for a normal sugary milkshake! The service was bad when we were there due to many trainees serving there. Overall, the food brought down the ratings. "

"The view from the lobby and the indoor pool are what makes this property special. Nothing like it have I ever seen. This is enough to make u fall in love at first sight when u arrive. The rooms are nice but a bit outdated but generally everything was great and lots to do and explore on site as it is large. The service and staff are impeccable and very friendly and kind. Breakfast could be improved and given that most goods needs to be ordered this could be better communicated to guests. Some more activities should be complimentary as cost of room is quite high so by including activities this will make guests more involved and entertained. The outdoor pool could not use as it was cold. But the indoor one is one of a kind worldwide. Awesome fireplace in the room too. We upgraded to the premium villa which was way better than the cottage we originally booked. Space wise all rooms can accommodate 3 easily. They have electric cars to take u around which are unique too. Very environment friendly property"

"Location good but it’s far from main road"

"Location - easily approachable and is in the main road. The resort is big with immense plantations and is very pleasant looking. Food - 2 restaurants (indian and italian. Mrng breakfast buffet spread is decent with limited varieties. Tasty and the alacarte menu is very good in the italian restaurant. We had all our food at the resort only and didn't face any health issues - well cooked. Service - friendly staff and their response time is very good. Amenities - club house have lot of play options. Badminton court, cycling, tt, billiards and multiple board games for kids as well. Resort is well maintained, pleasant looking, clean and trees/plantations all around. They have maintained the beauty without compromising the trees/plantations. E co friendly"

"Everyone at checkin, restaurant staff and cleaning services were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Welcome coffee beverage was appreciated ***** with complimentary fruit plate in room! Breakfast was enjoyable. Location is not ideal for exploring nature or what the area is known for; not close to sightseeing or shops for spices or coffee. They offer no guidance in this respect nor maps of area. Suite was spacious but the bed was very uncomfortable and no nice views from room."
