AAnonieme gebruikerIt’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained. This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well) . When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls. Overall, it doesn’t stop you from having a great rest. However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners.
When we checked out, they kindly drove us back to the station. I left with a complete sense of relaxation. Thank you!

GGastgebruikerThere was a cockroach in the room which can be explained by the closeness to the nature. This ryokan offered great experience of more modern-style ryokans. Very tasty breakfast and dinner.

PPPkwokAbsolutely five stars!!! Excellent service and amazing pool side view. Both dinner and breakfast are perfect!! They provide shuttle buses but the timing is not good for me. It’s only around 10 minutes walk from nearest station. So the location is not a big problem for me.

GGastgebruikerThe hotel is excellent, with spacious rooms and beautiful scenery. It offers facilities such as an open-air bath, swimming pool, karaoke, and tennis court. Guests can also book a free shuttle to and from the JR station. It feels like a bit of a waste for just two people — it’s more suitable for four to five guests.
The front desk staff are warm and attentive.
Since the hotel is located in the mountains, I encountered a centipede in the hallway.
Walking there is not recommended.

GGastgebruikerOverall this hotel's location is perfect for 1-3 days stay, but for longer stay you will need to take a taxi everywhere, its located too far. Even closest 7-11 is 1h walk away!
Everything was fine, the room for 3 was enourmous, clean and fresh. Its located right at the zoo entrance, with a discount for zoo tickets.
The only problem is its location - every restaurant around closes at 5 pm, so quite inconvenient. Even when we were looking on Google maps for an open restaurants and it said they were open - they were closed in reality. Spent almost 2h looking for food))
So you better ask hotel staff to find you a place to eat, even better if they call in a restaurants.

PPanda6 “Coffee”川奈駅から無料の送迎があり、とても助かりました。予約制です。駅からは車で12分位かかり、山の中でした。
館内はとても雰囲気か良く落ち着いていました。
スタッフの方も親切でした。
夕食時、1時間飲み放題になり静岡麦酒がおいしかったです。お料理も全て美味しかったです。
とても楽しい旅行になりました。
ぜひおすすめしたいホテルです。

MMic890The staff here are very helpful and polite, they even helped me to contact the next hotel for clarification. Only I recommend them to build a store room around the parking lot so that the huge size of the luggage can be left there for overseas traveller and no need to bring up to the hotel by walking the long stairs, if any. Also, they can provide a simple map in the website to locate their exact hotel location and nearby shops, cafe and supermarket, train station, etc. For me, I had a great experience spent in this hotel. If you like to see sunrise, it also a good place to stay in ocean view room. If you like running, you can run along the hill side with wonderful ocean view.
