I had a fantastic experience at Forest Glaming! The staff, including Mr. Terada & the cool dude with long hair, were not only incredibly friendly but also made an effort to communicate with me in English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Japanese. Despite missing the shuttle bus, Mr. Terada kindly came to pick me up. The resort is a serene haven, offering tranquility and the cleanest toilets I've ever encountered. ✨Being tented near the shower and toilet facilities was an added bonus. 😮💨The food was outstanding, especially the aged domestic beef 🍖 BBQ. The only disappointment was not having the chance to share the wonderful dinner with the staff. I totally recommend Forest Glaming to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape with exceptional service and facilities. The staff's warmth and willingness to engage in different languages truly enhanced my stay. Fantabulous!!! 😍🥰

Het hotel ligt vlakbij station Izu Kogen, in een villawijk met veel hoogteverschillen, waardoor het wat lastig kan zijn om met bagage te sjouwen. Houd er ook rekening mee dat er 's nachts maar weinig huizen verlicht zijn, zoals typisch is voor villawijken. Gelukkig komen de eigenaren uit Shanghai en zijn ze erg gastvrij, waardoor er geen taalbarrière is voor reizigers. Het hotel beschikt over een openbaar badhuis met een eigen onsen (warmwaterbron). Gasten worden geacht in de onsen te baden volgens de traditionele Japanse etiquette. Het hotel biedt ook een shuttleservice naar populaire toeristische attracties, wat vrij voordelig is als je met een groep reist en de kosten deelt. Eerlijk gezegd zijn er nog andere bezienswaardigheden in de buurt, zoals Oyodo en Koyodo, vergelijkbaar met de kustlijn van Kinosaki, met hangbruggen. De eigenaar vertelde dat je zelfs dichter bij de zee kunt lopen. Ik zou zeker nog eens terugkomen. In de lente staan ​​er ook veel Kawazu-kersenbloesems in de buurt!

位置：距離伊豆高原站步行20分鐘左右，建議可以提前和店家發郵件聯繫接送服務。 我們這次入住的是101號房間，有一房一廳，浴室乾濕分離，衞生也打掃得很好。 服務：入店後，店家小姐姐很熱情介紹了入住須知，洗護用品去也有pola 雪肌精 DHC等可以選擇，按需拿取，除此以外 還貼心準備了小孩子用的拖鞋，泡澡用的刷子等物品。 配置：這次定這家酒店就是看中了他家的温泉♨️私湯，有兩個私湯，衹要沒有人都可以包場使用，但不能提前預訂。內部同樣有提供小孩子用的小凳子等物品，讓人感覺很貼心。遊玩一天和朋友享受有私密性的温泉太讚了👍 餐食：我們這次預訂中有包含兩餐早晚飯，早餐有西式日式，值得一提的是晚餐提供的壽喜鍋非常好吃，食材很新鮮，份量也很足，店家大叔也會和你耐心介紹，幫忙。 加分點：館內有一衹叫做“SOCKS”（襪子）的小狗 非常可愛，很乖可以摸，看起來被店家照顧得很好。有點像遊戲裏的NPC，在館內不經意就會轉角遇到它[Love][Love]已經推薦給了身邊朋友，大家有機會來伊豆玩可以選擇這家酒店。

Далековато от станции ИТО пешком с чемоданом. Такси примерно 800-1000 йен. Нет кулера с водой и кофе машины. Онсен 5 штук хватает на всех-)) завтрак скромный, но скрэмбл и сосиски ок-))) Зато номер в японском стиле с видом на город и горы классный! Воздух горный с морем шикарно! Море тоже минут 20, до прогулки вполне ок.

Overall this hotel's location is perfect for 1-3 days stay, but for longer stay you will need to take a taxi everywhere, its located too far. Even closest 7-11 is 1h walk away! Everything was fine, the room for 3 was enourmous, clean and fresh. Its located right at the zoo entrance, with a discount for zoo tickets. The only problem is its location - every restaurant around closes at 5 pm, so quite inconvenient. Even when we were looking on Google maps for an open restaurants and it said they were open - they were closed in reality. Spent almost 2h looking for food)) So you better ask hotel staff to find you a place to eat, even better if they call in a restaurants.

川奈駅から無料の送迎があり、とても助かりました。予約制です。駅からは車で12分位かかり、山の中でした。 館内はとても雰囲気か良く落ち着いていました。 スタッフの方も親切でした。 夕食時、1時間飲み放題になり静岡麦酒がおいしかったです。お料理も全て美味しかったです。 とても楽しい旅行になりました。 ぜひおすすめしたいホテルです。

I stayed at Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace for 5 nights booking though Trip.com. Be warned that problems may occur when booking through travel websites such as this one. I booked a standard room with no meals. What I did not know however, was that this reservation did not include any room cleaning services for the entire stay, no taking of garbage or towel replacement, no bed making, nothing at all. When I contacted the travel website to show my disappointment, they immediately contacted the hotel requesting a full refund. I did not expect a full refund for my entire stay. What I did expect, was for someone to acknowledge the fact that this important piece of information should have been indicated someone on the online reservation confirmation. Neither the travel site nor the hotel would acknowledge this. The travel site replied with a response from the hotel, saying that I was a regular guest and knew about this “regulation”. It’s true, I have visited Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace on several occasions when housekeeping services were not included. However, this was clearly indicated on the reservation, and I stayed during the COVID STATE OF EMERGENCY, when it was standard practice for many hotels to exclude cleaning services. My recent stay was at the beginning of August, WHEN THE STATE OF EMERGENCY AND COVID RESTRICTIONS HAD BEEN LIFTED. It is no longer standard practice to exclude cleaning services at hotels in Japan. The hotel stated that I visited the front desk every day to get towels and never mentioned the need to clean the room. This is untrue. I only came to the front dest 2 times during my stay, and this is because room cleaning staff entered my room on 2 occasions, so I was expecting them to clean or take out the trash, but they did nothing and left. I expected them to return, however, they never did. The bottom line is the hotel is responsible for communicating their services to customers, especially after covid restrictions have been lifted. Blaming guests for their lack of communication is completely unprofessional. Now in regards to the hotel itself, I have stayed here on several occasions, I find it to be perfect, mainly because of the location and modest room size. The hotel is conveniently located near Lake Ippeki (Ippekiko) and there is plenty of nature and a few trails in the area. You can step out the door and be on a simple hiking trail within minutes. It’s a very quiet area and very good for children and families. Though the hotel is dated, the rooms are all quite large and include a living room, kitchen with cooking supplies and dishes (but no forks or spoons), a large bath, and both Western and Japanese style bedrooms. Some may be discouraged by the age of the hotel (it’s quite old and could use some renovation), but if you don’t mind that, then I would highly recommend staying here. One point that I need to mention is in regards to the bedrooms. The hotel has replaced their blackout curtains with super thin curtains which allow sunlight to easily shine through. We were woken up at 5:00 am every morning because of the bright sunlight in our room. If you’re a light sleeper, please take note. I wish management would consider this. Also, it’s highly recommended that guests come by car, public transportation is very inconvenient in the area. Overall, Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace is a very convenient place for a reasonable price. I will definitely be staying here again in the future, but hope that they act with a little more professionalism and consider the fact that the covid state of emergency ended long ago.

老牌温泉♨️酒店，設施很有昭和氛圍。不過針對這個價位，其實沒有什麼可以挑剔的，千元左右含兩餐包括酒水，很划算。酒店基本都是本地客人，而且老年客人居多。一條街上有三家同集團酒店🏨，有興趣可以憑房間鑰匙三家的温泉隨便泡。酒店離伊東站步行十分鐘，也有免費的迎送班車，官網上都有時刻。交通很方便，去大室山和城琦海岸都有直達公車。

The staff here are very helpful and polite, they even helped me to contact the next hotel for clarification. Only I recommend them to build a store room around the parking lot so that the huge size of the luggage can be left there for overseas traveller and no need to bring up to the hotel by walking the long stairs, if any. Also, they can provide a simple map in the website to locate their exact hotel location and nearby shops, cafe and supermarket, train station, etc.    For me, I had a great experience spent in this hotel. If you like to see sunrise, it also a good place to stay in ocean view room.  If you like running, you can run along the hill side with wonderful ocean view.
