Our visit to Champagne Domaine Sacret was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Champagne. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, authentic, and incredibly well thought out. This is a family-owned B&B. The setting in Aÿ is stunning—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by beautiful vineyards that perfectly capture the charm of the Champagne region. The hospitality was exceptional; the hosts were welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, complimentary champagne tasting every evening at 6 pm is cherry on the cake. The champagne itself was outstanding—refined, elegant, and memorable. Each tasting came with insightful explanations, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. You can really feel the craftsmanship and heritage behind every bottle. What stood out the most was how personal and genuine the entire visit felt. It wasn’t just a tasting—it was an immersive experience into the world of champagne making. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region. Whether you’re a champagne enthusiast or just looking for a unique and relaxing experience, this is a must-visit.

Very clean and spacious hotel. The staff were super friendly. The bar and restaurant is open late until midnight, they have a snack shop. The breakfast was nice also the hotel is spacious and beautiful. I would defenitly go back if staying in Reims. It's not located directly at the city center though, but at least it's quiet. They have a parking place for those coming by car. I recommend it

Goede locatie. Ik bezocht tijdens de kerstperiode. kerstmarkt Toen ik vroeg hoe lang het evenement zou duren, zeiden ze tot vandaag. Omdat het mij verteld werd Bezoek de volgende dag de projectiekaart van de kathedraal van Reims De wijziging werd doorgevoerd, maar de projectiemapping gold tot vandaag en de kerstmarkt werd de hele maand december gehouden. Ik wil graag nauwkeurige informatie ontvangen over evenementenschema's enz. Gedachten d

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

De kamer is over het algemeen eenvoudig en licht, zeer schoon, de service is zeer attent en er zijn veel keuzes voor het ontbijt. De locatie is relatief goed, met verschillende bezienswaardigheden er vlak naast.

Een dikke dankjewel aan de fantastische barman! Supervriendelijk, vrolijk en deskundig. Het hotel is zeer goed ingedeeld, zeer schoon en zeer goed uitgerust. Het dakterras biedt een schitterend uitzicht. Kortom, niets dan pluspunten!

Fabulous spot right next to the cathedral so beautiful & definitely recommend a balcony room facing out to the cathedral. Loved this quirky hotel which was once a fire station very modern but with touches of old features towards its former use. The staff went above and beyond to make are break perfect (to booking a restaurant for us to valet parking and just being friendly and helpful)We sipped champagne at the front of the hotel restaurant outside with a back drop of the cathedral. Must just mention the delicious breakfast too.

This hotel is a very reasonably priced for what it offers. The hotel general areas is clean and well presented. We booked a basic room with what we needed for an overnight stay with air conditioning and it was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great including bacon, eggs a selection of juices, cheeses, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and tea/coffee. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for its value for money, and hasslefree stays.

Check-in at Hôtel des Arcades was easy, and the staff were helpful, friendly and very welcoming, which made a good first impression. The room itself was fine, although it was warm. However, the bathroom was disappointing. Taking a shower felt a little like being in a caravan, with the curtain touching the toilet, and once the shower had been used the toilet area was wet. The door also did not close properly. Overall, the hotel could definitely do with some TLC. Given its location in such a great city, a few thoughtful touches, such as photographs or local artwork on the walls, would really help give the place more character and make it feel more connected to its surroundings.

Om te beginnen met de positieve punten: de prijs is goed, de locatie is uitstekend, letterlijk 20 meter van het hoofdgebouw, de receptioniste was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, er is parkeergelegenheid op het terrein en ondanks de duidelijke beperkingen was de kamer schoon. Het hotel is echter erg verouderd en heeft een flinke investering nodig in onderhoud om het op een fatsoenlijke standaard te brengen. Onze kamer was klein, wat geen probleem was, maar dingen zoals ontbrekende schroeven in het slot, de wc-knop die niet goed paste, afgebladderd en beschadigd schilderwerk, enz. lieten de plek echt in de steek. Helaas hielp een dronken gast die om middernacht een deur probeerde in te trappen niet, wat de slechte beoordeling alleen maar versterkte. Ik besef dat het hotel zijn gasten niet kan selecteren, maar ik neem aan dat je met een budgethotel wel budgetklanten kunt krijgen.
