"I caught the RV train from Helsinki, which was relaxing and a brilliant way to see the countryside. Arriving into Rovaniemi at 21:20, it was a short cab drive to the hotel,and with 24/7 reception checking was a breeze. Twin room 410 was well appointed, clean, and beds were comfortable; the room safe was easy to set and use. I appreciated the door chain for extra security and peaceful night sleep. Santas Hotel central location was excellent ,with the padestrian mall, shops, restaurants, and bars literally around the corner. Taxis could be found out front, and the santa/airport bus was only a short walk up the street. Though do pay attention to santa express pickup and drop-off times as they do not run that regularly. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone to enjoy! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel made my inner child smile.😊 There are many attractions, so be sure to give yourself enough time to experience everything. "Our stay in the glass igloo was amazing! The accommodation was very clean, and it included all the necessary amenities. It even came with a kitchenette. We were fortunate to see the aurora borealis just outside our igloo on the night we arrived, and watching the sunrise from the igloo was simply magical. The meals at the resort were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Fox Arctic Glass Igloo Resorts for a memorable experience."

"The staff was really amazing, very friendly. I wasn’t very impressed by the room. The heating was not fully working, there were no basic amenities like a kettle, or even drinking water. Biggest concern was cleanliness as I asked for cleaning on one occasion and beds were poorly made, sheets weren’t changed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned as there a piece of paper on the floor which was clearly visible, tissues weren’t restocked and also one of the over covers from the bed was removed and just chucked over the ironing board which was absolutely horrifying to see. Food at the hotel was good and restaurant staff were also very helpful."

The on-site restaurants also provided delicious meals, with a cozy ambiance perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ensuring guests had the best experience possible. Whether it was arranging activities or providing recommendations, their service was top-notch."

"Artic Snowhotel is a nice place to stay if you need to take a break from the city. Overall the room was nice, and the view was good. However, the only thing I felt disappointed is the location is quite far from city and it was very difficult for us to order car/taxi, even when you had already ordered the car, you also need to wait for 25mins for them to come. This is the only headache thing when you stay here but if you think positively, it will be a high chance to see the aurora if during your stay the aurora reaches its strongest intensity as it was far from city."

"De hoogste kamer is vol, de huisvorm is geïdentificeerd, de kamer is nog steeds volledig uitgerust, de tanden zijn allemaal gedekt. Het hotel heeft een goed ontbijt, de variëteit is rijk aan frisse en fruitige snoep, en we hebben ook lunch gebruikt, de smaak is ook goed. Het is veel beter dan naar het kerstman dorp om de unieke sneeuwsluizen van de gasten van het hotel te ervaren. Misschien onder de landingslijn van de luchthaven, soms wordt het vliegtuig een beetje zwakker en niet rustig genoeg. De prijsverhouding voelt zich meer algemeen."

Slippers are provided( but they are only for living room area, not for showering, not water-proof) Bathroom: showering stuff and are provided, including towels, bath mats, shampoo, hair cond, body wash, hand cream, hair dryer, plastic cup. "Excellent hostel in a central location! I was able to walk to the local attractions and shops quite easily. Staff is friendly and helpful and the hostel is clean. Sheets and towels are provided and a coded locker too. The best part was the free use of the sauna for one hour in the evening, very enjoyable! I will definitely stay here again!"

I gained a newfound appreciation for these magnificent creatures and learned so much about their role in the local culture and environment. The guides who accompanied us during the husky and reindeer experiences were nothing short of amazing. Their expertise and enthusiasm added a whole new dimension to the trip. Apukka Resort delivered a magical and unforgettable experience. The comfortable bed, the regular appearance of the Northern Lights, the enriching encounters with huskies and reindeer, and the exceptional guides all contributed to making this trip one of the best times of my life.
