"The airport transfer takes about 10 minutes, and it's a short walk to Santa Claus Village (5-10 minutes). Nearby, there’s the famous Santa’s Salmon Place, also around a 5-minute walk. At night, it can be quite dark, so a taxi is recommended if not driving. Most staff are nice, though there was some confusion regarding a 3-day, 2-night package that included complimentary main courses for both nights. Initially, it was misunderstood that it was only for one night, but after inquiring, one the staff quickly resolved it and made a reservation for us. But one of staff just rejected at the first time and made us confused. Breakfast was diverse and delicious. The rooms are scattered across different areas, and some may be a bit far, requiring a short walk on gravel paths. Staff assistance with luggage during check-in and check-out is commendable. Room cleanliness was slightly lacking, with hair on the bed and some debris on the floor, but it didn't greatly affect the stay. The glass-roofed igloos offer privacy with curtains, though light sleepers should be aware of morning light. Overall, noise insulation was good, and there was sufficient distance between rooms. Overall, quite a special experience"

"Excellent hostel in a central location! I was able to walk to the local attractions and shops quite easily. Staff is friendly and helpful and the hostel is clean. Sheets and towels are provided and a coded locker too. The best part was the free use of the sauna for one hour in the evening, very enjoyable! I will definitely stay here again!"

"I caught the RV train from Helsinki, which was relaxing and a brilliant way to see the countryside. Arriving into Rovaniemi at 21:20, it was a short cab drive to the hotel,and with 24/7 reception checking was a breeze. Twin room 410 was well appointed, clean, and beds were comfortable; the room safe was easy to set and use. I appreciated the door chain for extra security and peaceful night sleep. Santas Hotel central location was excellent ,with the padestrian mall, shops, restaurants, and bars literally around the corner. Taxis could be found out front, and the santa/airport bus was only a short walk up the street. Though do pay attention to santa express pickup and drop-off times as they do not run that regularly. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone to enjoy! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel made my inner child smile.😊 There are many attractions, so be sure to give yourself enough time to experience everything. "The staff was really amazing, very friendly. I wasn’t very impressed by the room. The heating was not fully working, there were no basic amenities like a kettle, or even drinking water. Biggest concern was cleanliness as I asked for cleaning on one occasion and beds were poorly made, sheets weren’t changed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned as there a piece of paper on the floor which was clearly visible, tissues weren’t restocked and also one of the over covers from the bed was removed and just chucked over the ironing board which was absolutely horrifying to see. Food at the hotel was good and restaurant staff were also very helpful."

"Our stay in the glass igloo was amazing! The accommodation was very clean, and it included all the necessary amenities. It even came with a kitchenette. We were fortunate to see the aurora borealis just outside our igloo on the night we arrived, and watching the sunrise from the igloo was simply magical. The meals at the resort were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Fox Arctic Glass Igloo Resorts for a memorable experience."

Slippers are provided( but they are only for living room area, not for showering, not water-proof) Bathroom: showering stuff and are provided, including towels, bath mats, shampoo, hair cond, body wash, hand cream, hair dryer, plastic cup. "Artic Snowhotel is a nice place to stay if you need to take a break from the city. Overall the room was nice, and the view was good. However, the only thing I felt disappointed is the location is quite far from city and it was very difficult for us to order car/taxi, even when you had already ordered the car, you also need to wait for 25mins for them to come. This is the only headache thing when you stay here but if you think positively, it will be a high chance to see the aurora if during your stay the aurora reaches its strongest intensity as it was far from city."

"De hoogste kamer is vol, de huisvorm is geïdentificeerd, de kamer is nog steeds volledig uitgerust, de tanden zijn allemaal gedekt. Het hotel heeft een goed ontbijt, de variëteit is rijk aan frisse en fruitige snoep, en we hebben ook lunch gebruikt, de smaak is ook goed. Het is veel beter dan naar het kerstman dorp om de unieke sneeuwsluizen van de gasten van het hotel te ervaren. Misschien onder de landingslijn van de luchthaven, soms wordt het vliegtuig een beetje zwakker en niet rustig genoeg. De prijsverhouding voelt zich meer algemeen."

I gained a newfound appreciation for these magnificent creatures and learned so much about their role in the local culture and environment. The guides who accompanied us during the husky and reindeer experiences were nothing short of amazing. Their expertise and enthusiasm added a whole new dimension to the trip. Apukka Resort delivered a magical and unforgettable experience. The comfortable bed, the regular appearance of the Northern Lights, the enriching encounters with huskies and reindeer, and the exceptional guides all contributed to making this trip one of the best times of my life.
