"De locatie is direct bij de uitgang van het metrostation en je kunt via de ondergrondse gang naar het hotel. De receptie van het hotel bevindt zich echter op de 10e verdieping van een commercieel gebouw en de kamers bevinden zich op de 12e verdieping van een ander gebouw. Het is niet handig om op en neer te gaan, wat een groot probleem is. De kamer is schoon en goed onderhouden, maar er is geen noemenswaardige service. "This hotel is in a fantastic location, just a 3-minute walk from Shangmeilin subway station. There are plenty of malls and restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. The hotel is situated on a high floor, and the lobby is modern, elegant, and boasts great natural light. The room itself was clean and tidy, with a well-designed wet/dry separation in the bathroom and a fantastic view from the floor-to-ceiling window. The Atour 'Deep Sleep' mattress was perfectly comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep even late at night. The complimentary mini-bar, tea bags, and drip coffee were a thoughtful touch. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the service was warm and professional. With a well-equipped laundry room and gym, this hotel is perfect for business travelers or short stays. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time."

AAnonieme gebruikerWe kwamen laat in de avond aan en gelukkig bood het hotel gratis snacks voor het avondeten aan – een fijn gebaar dat na een lange reis echt een verschil maakte.
Het hotel heeft een afhaalpunt voor pakketjes, wat handig is voor gasten die een pakketje verwachten. Er is ook een zelfbedieningswasserette en tot onze grote vreugde liepen er een paar schattige katten rond – een leuke bonus voor dierenliefhebbers!
Onze kamer was uitgerust met AI-bediening voor de verlichting en gordijnen, wat het verblijf extra comfortabel maakte. Een kleine suggestie: de föhn zit vast aan de muur, wat het gebruik ervan wat onhandig maakte. Als hij verplaatsbaar was, zou dat nog beter zijn.
Al met al een geweldige ervaring, vooral voor wie houdt van een gezellige, huisdiervriendelijke omgeving!

Locatie:
Dit hotel ligt op een strategische plek met gemakkelijke toegang tot alle delen van de stad. Het dichtstbijzijnde MRT-station is HuangGangCun Station, met drie uitgangen (C1, C2 en D) direct voor het hotel. Als u bagage heeft, gebruik dan uitgang C2, die een roltrap heeft naar de hoofdstraat die naar het hotel leidt. Houd er rekening mee dat er geen lift naar het station gaat, dus het is gemakkelijker om de trap vanaf uitgang D te gebruiken voor bagage. U kunt ook naar de rechterkant van het hotel lopen en het zebrapad gebruiken om uitgang A met een roltrap te vinden, waarvoor u 8-10 minuten moet lopen zonder schaduw. Aan de linkerkant van het hotel brengt een wandeling van 5 minuten u naar FuMin Station, uitgang C, in de buurt van Ji Hotel. Er zijn veel restaurants en een lokale avondmarkt in de buurt, evenals een Starbucks en een supermarkt in het complex.
Kamer:
Het heeft alles wat u nodig hebt. De kamer had een sterke airconditioning. Een van de redenen waarom ik voor dit hotel koos, was het slimme toilet en de aparte douche en wastafel. Alles wordt bediend via een slim paneel. Ze hebben mijn kamer gratis geüpgraded, die ruim was en een geweldig uitzicht op de stad Shenzhen's iconische gebouw bood. De kamer was inclusief een gratis minibar met bier, theefaciliteiten, een grote LED-tv en een XiaoDu-apparaat voor muziek en weersvoorspellingen. Voorzieningen waren onder meer een strijkijzer en strijkplank, tandenborstel, tandpasta, mondwater, kam, scheermes, wattenstaafjes, een krachtige föhn, comfortabele badjas en slippers, schone handdoeken en deken, een gerecyclede tas, douchecrème, conditioner, shampoo, lotion, handzeep, tissuesdoos, waterfles en etc. Het hotel biedt ook gratis was- en droogservice, een comfortabel kingsize bed en kussens en lichte kamers met veel zonlicht en verlichting. Mijn kamer bevindt zich op verdieping #18. Uitstekende geluidsisolatie.
Douche:
De douche had een sterke waterdruk en 24 uur per dag warm water met snelle opwarming.
Slim toilet:
Het slimme toilet was uitstekend.
Verlengd verblijf:
Ik heb mijn verblijf met nog eens twee nachten verlengd. Ik ben dol op dit hotel. Barstraten en een winkelcentrum in de buurt van het Exhibition MRT-station liggen op slechts één halte van het HuangGangCun-station. Een Didi/taxirit terug naar het hotel 's avonds kost CNY 16-19 en duurt ongeveer 10 minuten.
Van het hotel naar het FuTian High-Speed Train Station:
Het is slechts 9-12 minuten met de MRT vanaf dit hotel, een enkele reis kost slechts CNY2/persoon. Neem MRT-lijn 7 vanaf uitgang D van HuangGang, stap over op lijn 3 bij ShiXia naar FuTian Station (3 haltes) of neem lijn 4 vanaf uitgang C van FuMin Station rechtstreeks naar uitgang D van ShiMinZhongXin Station (2 haltes). Ik raad aan om de Amap-app te downloaden voor gedetailleerde routes in China.
Service:
De receptioniste en het schoonmaakpersoneel zijn vriendelijk en bereid om op elk moment eventuele problemen op te lossen. Ze maken de kamer elke dag schoon zonder herinneringen, vullen dagelijks de toiletartikelen bij en bieden wasservice, inclusief vouwen, binnen een dag. Ze bieden ook ontbijt aan tegen een meerprijs.
Extra services:
U kunt online eten bestellen en winkelen en de verkoper vragen om leveringen naar dit hotel te sturen door de receptie vooraf te informeren. Het personeel zal een robot gebruiken om uw pakket rechtstreeks bij u thuis af te leveren.

GGastgebruikerI was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations.
The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy.
The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building.
For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet.
Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers.
There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests.
The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated.
The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall.
The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great.
For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

老板会说一些基础英语，人也非常热情。我刚从香港机场来到深圳北，他还主动提出可以带我熟悉一下周边环境。楼下和附近有很多吃的，我就在旁边吃了兰州拉面和臭豆腐，非常方便。
这家青旅位于一栋公寓楼内，是宿舍式布局。进门需要脱鞋，店家会提供室内拖鞋。公共区域有沙发和餐桌，提供免费饮用水，还有一次性牙刷和毛巾。我旅行时忘记带毛巾，这点对我来说非常贴心。卫生间是现代化的马桶，不需要蹲厕。
每个床位都有隐私帘和独立照明灯，床位旁边也有插座。Wi-Fi 信号稳定，没有任何问题。另外还提供免费洗衣服务，这对旅行者来说是很大的加分项。
店内有安静时间规定，所以晚上可以安心休息。我入住期间非常安静，也没有人打呼噜。老板还特意问我会不会打呼噜，可见他很照顾每位客人的感受。
其他住客都很礼貌、很安静。我是唯一的外国人，其他客人都是中国旅客，可能和我一样，当晚没买到火车票才临时入住。这里是无烟环境，我很喜欢这一点。
唯一的小缺点是对高个子来说床可能稍短。我身高183厘米（6英尺），需要稍微蜷着睡。床长大概180厘米左右，高个子可以提前考虑一下。不过整体来说还是可以接受的。
地理位置非常方便，就在火车站旁边。如果带行李，可以直接坐地铁到附近，我只花了2元人民币，完全没必要打车。第二天早上，我在附近买了猪肉包子和豆浆，老板也很友善，味道不错。
总的来说，4美元的价格性价比非常高。如果你在深圳北附近寻找一个干净、实惠又方便的住宿地点，这里是非常不错的选择。希望这条评价能帮到有需要的人。

From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means.
Arrival and Reception
First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you.
The Club Skyline View Room
If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty.
The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort.
The Mandarin Club
Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people.
Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. Daarnaast is het personeel uitzonderlijk gastvrij en zorgt het voor een comfortabel gevoel. De service is attent en zorgvuldig gedurende je hele verblijf, wat de ervaring top maakt.
Het enige kleine minpuntje was dat de schoonmaak op sommige plekken iets beter kon; een paar hoekjes waren niet helemaal brandschoon. Dit was een kleine smet op een verder perfecte ervaring. Desondanks is de algehele kwaliteit hoog en wegen de kleine imperfecties niet op tegen het geheel. Het is een juweeltje waar je keer op keer terug wilt komen, en ik hoop dat de details in de toekomst nog verder worden verbeterd.

Food is great. Service is amazing. The view is epic.
The room is built and designed well.
Gym room is big.
Especially our highlight is the customer service, my wife and I wanna point out the staff that serving us (入住服務大使) Mandy is very kind and helpful to us. Delight our stay. Also other staffs that served/helped us are very polite and kind. (Front desk: Perry etc.)

Het ligt dicht bij Haiya Colourful City en op slechts een paar minuten lopen (ik kwam erachter nadat ik een taxi had genomen) dat er beneden het hotel KFC, Naixue, Starbucks en 711 zijn, wat erg handig is.
Het is niet ver van Happy Harbor. De deluxe kamer waar we de eerste nacht in verbleven, kon het reuzenrad zien.
Hoewel het niet erg dicht bij het centrum ligt, is het over het algemeen best handig.

Er is niets aan te merken voor deze prijs. De algehele uitrusting is erg nieuw en de kamer is erg schoon. Met kinderen hou ik van een hotel met een nieuwe omgeving en goede hygiëne. De deluxe kamer is vrij groot, het elektrische toilet is ook erg goed en de kleine koelkast is ook heel schattig. Stembediening is erg handig. De volgende dag was ik oorspronkelijk van plan het prijsverschil te betalen om te upgraden naar een ouder-kindkamer, maar de receptie was erg aardig. Nadat ze de situatie hadden begrepen, hebben ze me direct een upgrade gegeven en me een rondleiding door beide kamers gegeven. De hele plaats is erg schoon en er zijn kinderspullen en nachthemden, wat erg leuk is.

Hoewel ik persoonlijk niet het gevoel heb dat de verscheidenheid aan ontbijt bijzonder rijk is, heeft het alles wat inbegrepen zou moeten zijn. Het verandert ook in twee dagen, wat niet wil zeggen dat het statisch is. Ik raad vooral de rauwe pap en rijstbroodjes aan, die echt goed zijn. Hotels van dit niveau vragen meestal extra voor het ontbijt, maar Ctrip- en hotelpakketten zijn inclusief ontbijt, dus er is niets aan te merken. Er zijn ook veel keuzes voor drankjes.
Dienen
Er valt eigenlijk niet veel te zeggen. Het is geweldig. Ze zijn erg geduldig en vriendelijk. Als de kinderen huilen, troost iedereen ze. Ze zijn ook erg zorgzaam en attent.
Oorspronkelijk wilde ik deze keer nog twee dagen blijven, maar mijn kind bleef erop aandringen om naar de grote kamer in de Duck te gaan, dus ik moest van hotel wisselen. Maar als ik de volgende keer naar Bao'an District kom, zal het nog steeds gebeuren wees mijn eerste keuze. Het zou fijn zijn als er meer ouder-kindkamers zouden zijn.

LLondiWe hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf hier. De kamers waren schoon en het personeel was erg behulpzaam. Ik kan hun diner van harte aanbevelen, het was een zeer redelijke prijs voor de bediening en het eten was fantastisch. De fotograaf was ook erg geduldig met ons en heeft prachtige foto's van ons gemaakt. Het zwembad en de bar zijn geschikt voor zowel volwassenen als kinderen, een echte aanrader! Ik zou hier zeker weer verblijven. Bedankt aan het personeel dat ons snel te woord stond, erg vriendelijk.

GGastgebruikerMijn eerste verblijf overtrof onze verwachtingen. We boekten een familiekamer voor twee volwassenen en twee kinderen en hadden extra bedden en bedhekken nodig. Dank aan mevrouw Dai, onze klantenservicemedewerker, voor het geduldig beantwoorden van al mijn vragen. Ze was ongelooflijk attent. Ik wil ook een speciale shout-out geven aan Ivan Zhou, onze receptionist, voor zijn professionaliteit, hoffelijkheid en stralende glimlach. Beiden waren ongelooflijk behulpzaam! Het gratis ballenbad in de lobby was een geweldige manier voor de kinderen om stoom af te blazen, wat fantastisch was! Dank aan het hotel voor de upgrade naar een familiesuite. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel, met een warme dierendecoratie waar de kinderen dol op waren. De omgeving was ook rustig en aangenaam, waardoor ons verblijf echt aangenaam was. Een echte aanrader!

When you go out, you will easily be greeted with a lot of food and restaurant options. Train is also accessible.
The front door is located infront of the street with cars so when you use didi, you can directly be dropped off into the front door.
When we first came, we were confused cause the elevator can’t go up to 14th floor. Apparently, there are 3 elevators in the first floor but only 2 on the left can be used to go up to 14th floor. The right elevator wont open at the 14th floor because it is where the reception of the hotel is placed.
When we went, we were asked if we are okay with one computer only. As someone who wasn’t planning to use the PC, I said it’s okay. However, when we went to the room, having 1 computer also meant we got the smaller room cut. I was so frustrated cause I read all reviews of a lot of hotels and really searched for a big cut room because we have big luggages and we were there for Christmas. I pipped on a room that was vacant when we checked in and it was a lot bigger than our room (same room type, just no pole and have 2 PCs) Mostly because our room also has this huge building pole that consumed a lot of space also.
The reception was nice and friendly though. She helped us carry our bags. However, the room itself was clean but you can smell the particles/dust of smoke that the previous user left. It isn’t direct smoke smell but as someone who is very allergic to smoke, our nose can pick up the particles itself like the dust that came from the cigar specially in the computer chair. So it didn’t smell like cigar but the particles left made us allergic and sneezing for the entire stay.
I told the reception the next day and they cleaned and used a device to remove smoke in the room. I really appreciated this since it lessen out sneezing throughout the night.
However, the smoke smell was evident when you go out of the room. Most probably because other guests are smoking outside or at the reception itself. Kind of sad because it says in the listing that this property was a non-smoking room. Which if they said that someone is able to smoke, I wouldn’t even consider the property in the first place.
Contrary to other reviews, I saw a robot in the basement that was able to deliver food by itself. I’m not sure if it can go up to the hotel because we didn’t try but the robot was functioning and was able to deliver food in other floors.
Overall, the stay was great. Amenities were there such as shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers, bathrobe and others. Just frustrated because we got a smaller room cut (the image looks big because of mirrors) and smells like cigar even though I also noted in my booking that I have a very bad allergy towards cigarette.
Oh, and the other reviews were right, if you are sensitive to noise, you need to double think before booking because the cars and the street noise can really be heard in the room. For someone who is not sensitive to noise that much, it wasn’t a concern for me.
The pillows and bed was great and comfortable :) There’s also a refrigerator in the room.
