I recently stayed at Hanting Hotel during my trip to [insert city]. While the hotel provided me with a comfortable stay, there were a few aspects that left something to be desired. Firstly, Hanting Hotel's location was superb. It was conveniently situated in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible to popular attractions and public transportation. This was a major plus point for me, as I could explore the city effortlessly. Upon arrival, the reception staff greeted me warmly and check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel's lobby exuded a modern and clean atmosphere, which was quite welcoming. Furthermore, the hotel's security measures were commendable, ensuring a safe environment for all guests. My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly. The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience. In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff. Overall, Hanting Hotel offered a decent stay with its convenient location, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. However, improvements in sound insulation, room cleanliness, and inclusion of additional room amenities would greatly enhance the overall experience.

My family ended up originally booking for one night but added two more nights. The non smoking room was nice smelling, clean and bed was comfy. The location was suitable as we had personal business to do in the area but near motian mall where kids can play at Meland and lots of restaurants around. I was impressed with the service at the hotel to do our laundry, with check out times and overall information. I also think you can check out at 6 pm which is super convenient. The breakfast was good. The chinese side of the family enjoyed it, and as a westerner I found it suitable to have eggs, toast, and coffee. The coffee is an automatic expresso machine and NOT packets which was wonderful and tasted normal for western standards. We stayed during the week and really found the hotel to be quiet and could sleep well. The gym is good as well with enough equipment for a suitable workout. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay here again. If I did have one minor complaint, It may have been one day when we were checking in two men started smoking in the lobby right by a non smoking sign which caused my daughter and I to leave the lobby for a few minutes so it would be nice if the hotel front desk enforced that especially with the signs up. Saying that, Changchun is a place where people tend to not abide by smoking signs but still be nice to have the staff politely address that.

Locatie is geweldig, direct naast metrostation en veel eetgelegenheden, ook op loopafstand van twee grote parken. Kamer is nieuw en schoon, hoewel kleiner dan ik had verwacht. Ontbijt heeft goede variëteiten en eetkamer comfortabel en ruim. Service is over het algemeen goed, vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Pros: - Great location with access to many small convenience stores and restaurants around - Hotel is housed within one of the highest building in Changchun - Breakfast selection was great and service of staff there was superb - Room assigned was on 33rd floor with great view of the city - Room size was big despite having a small window space - Futuristic and minimalist hotel with robot to send food to your door (deliveries) - About 10 mins walk to “The Hill”/“Wanda Shopping Mall” and Tram 54 Cons: - Not easy to find the exact location in Didi App as it’s very new and there are a few hotels of the same name around the area - Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep - To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets Overall (Summary) - Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time. Cheers

We are very happy with our stay. All the staff were very helpful especially our receptionist 小果，she arranged us free transport to airport and late checkout, also offered free use for the mini bar in fridge although we didn't use it but we are very appreciated her her offer. I would also like to mention the duty manager and her team was very helpful too , her and her colleagues helped us to take our laugages to the hotel mini bus, the journey to the airport was fast and smooth and the driver was very polite. There's so much good things I want to mention about including their cleaning team, including the cleaning supervisor and their team member孫娟，they were very attentive, they seen my glasses was on the table and she left me some cleaning wipes for my glasses. Their breakfast was so delicious and so many options too , including my favourite dim sum, the server 刘奎志was very friendly he can communicate with us in English too. The hotel itself is very large and have a fantastic gym and spa , there's also music restaurant and Japanese restaurant too. We will definitely come back to stay in this hotel if we visit Changchun again and definitely recommend this outstanding hotel to everyone!

Homm Changchun Beihu is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in — with first-class service and truly world-class hospitality. A very special thanks to the reception staff, gym team, and hot spring attendants. Even though I don’t speak Chinese, every staff member was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and foreigner-friendly. They patiently went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, welcome, and at home. The hotel itself is stunning — elegant design, comfortable rooms, a well-equipped gym, and a relaxing hot spring. Everything is spotless, modern, and carefully maintained. For any international traveler visiting Changchun, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s foreigner friendly, luxurious, and highly recommended. The hotel is very clean but when I was there with my family, there are a lot of constructions ongoing near the hotel and it was raining every single day when we are at Changchun. The hotel staff is very nice and efficient esp when we had only 30 mins to board our train to head to Changbaishan. The hotel staff, Fu Yang, is able to cater for us and understand that we are rushing for time. We managed to board our train successfully thanks to Ms Fu Yang. The breakfast options were rather limited. There was a signage saying that we could have how we wanted our eggs. We requested for the chef to cook it; the chef booked for us unwillingly and gave us an attitude. From the previous guest reviews, there are many positive reviews with regards to the buffet hence we decided to pay for the breakfast buffet. Overall, we will still stay in the same hotel if we visit Changchun once again. :) Side note, the train station was rather far away from the hotel. However, DiDi works fine too.

Dit was ons t****e verblijf in drie dagen - beide keren vanwege de nabijheid van het Changchun treinstation - en opnieuw genoten we van de uitstekende service (zelfs als je telefoon leeg is, staat er een weersvoorspelling voor twee dagen op je bureau, samen met water en snacks, zie foto), klassieke Chinese harde matrassen en kussens (goed voor onze ruggen) en de historische tentoonstellingen die gasten eraan herinneren dat dit hotel voor het eerst werd geopend in 1909 in dit gebouw. ​​ Deze keer hadden we wel tijd voor hun uitgebreide ontbijtbuffet en het is inderdaad uitgebreid: salade, verschillende soorten eieren, havermout, fruit, gebak, Chinese dumplings, Chinese pap (de lokale ”hei mi” zwarte rijst is heerlijk), gebakken noedels, rijst, gestoomde groenten en broodjes, toast, jam, verschillende Chinese warme gerechten, vers gemaakte noedels, ... je snapt het idee. Het enige waar we spijt van hadden: ze hebben een koffiezetapparaat - voor oploskoffie... Veel heerlijke theesoorten, maar helaas alleen oploskoffie. Ook de prijs is onverslaanbaar: RMB 304 voor een tweepersoonskamer, inclusief twee keer ontbijt en twee vouchers voor afternoon tea.

My teenage daughter and I stayed at this hotel in a double room for 5 nights. We were impressed with the comfort of the beds, the breakfast and the service (although you will need to use a translation app if you do not speak Chinese). The breakfast was excellent in my opinion (wide variety of delicious Chinese dishes, salads, soup noodles, fried eggs, friend noodles and rice), but there was also toast and jam. While they did not have any knives to spread the butter and jam, we were able to purchase one across the road at a small but decently stocked supermarket. The hotel is located within walking distance of a unique mall (The Hill), many restaurants, and a very professional place (Oudi) for foot and body massage. Although don't expect anything to be open for dinner on Chinese New Year's eve. There was a snowy view out the window, and we were glad to be able to open the window sometimes as well as the rooms were well heated. While the hotel is right opposite a bus stop, it was far from a metro stop, so expect to take taxis everywhere. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Changchun.
