We stayed at The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. This was a place I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, birdlife, and the quiet atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. On our first night, we even had the whole property to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special. We enjoyed a lovely dinner nearby and were able to walk back through the gardens to the hotel afterwards, which added to the charm of the stay. Breakfast was simple but perfect, delivered in a basket and ideal for a relaxed morning. One of the best moments was lighting the fireplace on our final night and enjoying a quiet evening with a glass of wine. The location, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all fantastic, and this will definitely be one of our fondest memories from the trip.

It was a lovely stay. Nice room, clean and tidy, the complimentary drink was a nice gesture. The property is huge and peaceful for a relaxing walk around. It's convenient to wineries and restaurants. The only thing didn't really work for us was the air conditioner, couldn't figure out how to turn it on.

Beautiful setting. We booked the two bedroom suite and it has an open kitchen with basic amenities. The closest Cole’s was 10-15min drive so we had a nice homecooked meal. Every morning, kids can run out to the grass and the loved it! Stars at night ✨

Amazing stay. Room was super clean and modern. Love the espresso machine and they also provided milk. Really great basic necessities and the shower amenities smell fantastic. Fantastic place to relax and chill, overlooking the vineyards, watching kangaroos hop, and cows grazing the fields. It’s exactly what a getaway should be. Easy to check in and out. Thank you.

Nice comfortable bed , large bathroom with spar bath and separate shower , good sitting room with table small kitchenette. This property was in need of some care as kitchen draws were very grubby looking, bin wasn’t attached to the cupboard door , curtains hooks had come detached, shower door and grout looked grubby,this was such a shame as there was a lot to like about the property.

Lovely spot for a weekend in Pokolbin, set way back from the road in a picturesque clearing filled with wallabies! So nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down as they fed on the grass. Lovely spacious room with kitchenette and a big bathtub. Beautiful bathroom products by Jurlique was a nice touch ! The bed was a little firm for me but my husband loved it. Knocked off a star for cleanliness as you could see the walls were quite dusty when the up lights were on. It didn’t feel super private , you could hear all conversation when guests were out on their balconies.

We truly loved the whole experience offered, from the individual chalets in the midst of the woods, to the kangaroos at our doorstep, to the wines offered at deeply discounted prices in the fridge and the comfortable beds. Locationwise, it is very central as many vineyards, Hunter Valley Gardens and restaurants are just 5-10minutes drive away. Definitely will stay here again should we return to this region

We had a wonderful stay at voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley. Everything about this place was perfect from the peaceful atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings. It’s such a relaxing spot, ideal for a quiet getaway. The property is stunning, with lovely gardens and scenic views that make you feel instantly calm and refreshed. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Whether you’re looking to unwind, explore the Hunter Valley, or just enjoy some time away from the city, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend and would definitely love to return!

Tijdens mijn recente verblijf in het Leisure Inn in Pokolbin, Hunter Valley, vond ik de accommodatie over het algemeen erg aangenaam. De kamer was comfortabel en goed ingericht, en de locatie was fantastisch om de prachtige Hunter Valley-regio te verkennen. Er waren echter een paar minpunten. Een opvallend probleem was de aanwezigheid van muggen in de kamer, wat ons comfort beïnvloedde. Daarnaast was er na 20:00 uur geen restaurant meer geopend, wat, hoewel duidelijk vermeld in de boekingsgegevens, een welkome verbetering zou zijn als dit ook na 20:00 uur mogelijk was. Verder zijn de kamers enigszins met elkaar verbonden, waardoor geluiden van aangrenzende kamers gemakkelijk te horen zijn. Dit kan de privacy en rust beïnvloeden. Een ander punt van aandacht is het ontbreken van airconditioning in de kamer, wat het verblijf wat oncomfortabel kan maken bij warmer weer. Wat betreft toekomstige verbeteringen: het aanbieden van meer kindvriendelijke activiteiten of voorzieningen zou een geweldige aanvulling zijn en het verblijf voor gezinnen nog aangenamer maken. Al met al biedt het Leisure Inn een charmant verblijf, maar er is ruimte voor verbetering op het gebied van comfort en voorzieningen. Met een paar upgrades zou het een nog aantrekkelijkere bestemming kunnen worden.

We were pleasantly surprised by Villa Provence, couldn’t be happier with the location, charm and cleanliness of the place. I would definitely return. Communication via text message was very clear in regards to key collection. It has beautiful gardens and facilities, photos don’t do the place justice!!
