"We hadden een prachtig verblijf in Palmers Lane Estate tijdens het EASTER Weekend. We boeken de 5-bedkamer cabine voor 3 nachten, die zeer ruime was en werd gegeven de cabine met een grote externe veranda met 11 personen verblijf was geweldig. Bij aankomst hadden we een complimentaire kaasplat en fles Palmers Lane Estate wijn. De gronden waren prachtig, speelruimte voor kinderen en buitenzwembad allemaal in wandelafstand. Het land was vol met Kangaroos die morgen enmiddag zouden komen. Ik had nooit zo veel gezien, tot 15 op een etappe. Wilde konijnen zouden ook nacht rondlopen, dus je zou altijd voorzichtig moeten rijden in en uit het land. Mijn enige kritiek was de cabine aantrekt mosquito's vooral in onze slaapkamers, en we moesten met de fan op de nacht te slapen om ze weg te houden zo mogelijk te investeren in een paar buiten/indoor mosquito zappers. Over het algemeen, we genoten grondig onze verblijf."

"A good option. Photos are accurate. Clean, well equipped. Views are lovely from villa 1. ...a 5 minutes walk to lovely pool which is lovely especially on hot 33c day. Few maintenance items. Deck is lovely though less so on 33c ++ afternoon. Villa 1deck faces west socopes setting hot sun. Air-conditioning very useful..evening bedroom. Easy walk from villa 1 car park. Easy check in , key in door, Air-conditioning on. Negative is it was 25 minutes drive to the main mid week open vineyards in traditional Pokolbin region. Villas closer to Belford. One direction old north road is unsealed. Sealed option only extra 5 minutes to Pokolbin main region ( Harrigans, Brokenwood, Drayton, Ivanhoe)."

Brokenback Views Country Estate Hunter Valley

"Lovely spot for a weekend in Pokolbin, set way back from the road in a picturesque clearing filled with wallabies! So nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down as they fed on the grass. Lovely spacious room with kitchenette and a big bathtub. Beautiful bathroom products by Jurlique was a nice touch ! The bed was a little firm for me but my husband loved it. Knocked off a star for cleanliness as you could see the walls were quite dusty when the up lights were on. It didn’t feel super private , you could hear all conversation when guests were out on their balconies."

Wine Country Villas

"Wine Country Villas was excellent, we stayed in a 2 bed villa which has two good sized bedrooms. The place was very clean and well presented with all main items provided, including plenty of beach towels alongside the fridge stocked for breakfast. Checkin was easy as they send you a code on the day which allows you to access the property, so very Covid Safe. The lovely balcony deck is great to sit and enjoy breakfast and the view of Hunter Valley, and the pool is great. The kids loved it. The location is good and a very short drive to all the Vineyards and Hunter Valley Gardens, and a 15 min drive to Cessnock if you need to go to the Supermarkets. The only area of improvement would be replacing some of the pans as they were very old and unusable, something which should be a quick fix."
