Fab hotel for a quiet last minute break. Pool area was brilliant, really comfy sun beds and brilliant cocktails served from the pool bar. We were always able to find a sun bed. The staff were all brilliant, food and drink all seemed reasonable for the local prices. We were in one of the older rooms so it didn’t have the nice blue/ white colour theme shown in the hotel photos, but beds were comfy and there were double balcony doors so there was no issues with noise from the street. It was great to have a fridge in the room. Lovely beach less than 10 mins walk, and easy to jump on the bus to Palma from right outside the hotel (€2 each way). You can also cycle which is lovely too. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice. dinner also good, each night had a different theme- some nights were better than others! There was no entertainment in the evenings but bar open until 12. We stayed Monday- Friday and the hotel was busy but pretty chilled, I think it’s more of a party hotel over the weekends.

Arrived a little early and our room was ready to go straight there. We both liked the hotel, it’s an adults only so, no crying and not too much noise. We slept well, found the bed better than ours at home with modern facilities and natural materials used throughout the whole hotel. We enjoyed the beach, always beds and shades available with a shallow sea, I did go swimming but it was very cold and I didn’t manage it everyday. You are spoilt for choice with cafes, restaurants and bars, with enough shops to browse in The hotel offers excellent service, all we ate was hot, well cooked and great quality and the spots of interest like the roof bar give it the edge. Welcoming and comfortable in all areas, this was a great experience.

Just returned from five nights at Las arenas and everything was perfect. My daughter and I found the hotel was fantastic. Cleanliness was brilliant and we were relieved to see how clean it was after some of the reviews. The beds and pillows were so comfy. Lovely rain forest shower. The room was an adequate size for two of us and we had cupboard space each. As for the food I found the selection was the best of any others that I’ve stayed in at Can Pastilla. We are vegetarian and had enough to eat. The choice of desserts was lovely I’ve put on several pounds after five nights of them. Great choice of breakfast I would have liked bigger cups but can refill so no problem. We loved the downstairs pool and always got a sun bed anytime of day. Yes agree upstairs pools the sun beds were taken early but plenty of other seats to enjoy the wonderful view up there. Would we stay again. A definite YES. But would have to be a sea view room.

Quick transfer from airport and quick check in. Everything was good. The hotel is clean and up to date (not brand new but not old and tired either). Good beds/towels/cleaning staff. Small hotel and good soundproofing. Mainly couples staying and quiet at night. A few restaurants around the hotel but none worth mentioning. Good thing was that with 11 euros we could get into the centre of Palma.

Second time going with iberostar in Spain. Wasn’t a question after the first to go with it again and this one seems even better than last year in Tenerife! Friendly staff, comfy, clean & spacious room, great choice of food (breakfast is the best with churros, grill is always a good idea at dinner). The hotel itself is not overcrowded, there are just enough rooms, so you don’t feel overwhelmed by an enormous hotel complex. Upon arrival our luggages were taken right away, check-in could be done online since we booked on iberostar’s website so only final touches were made and while we had to wait around 5 minutes we were offered refreshments and fruits. Our room is standard with a side sea view on the 4th floor but still it seems like one of the best rooms and the side sea view is just partly side, the view is basically amazing. Airport 10 minutes away, Palma 15 mins by taxi and you can always count on the staff to order one for you. One of the best choice when staying in Mallorca!

This was our third stay at Apolo . Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a day due to the French ATC strike . We had EJ flights and there were no flights available back to Bristol for 4 days, we managed to get flights with BA back to Heathrow the day before the strike began, which did make our holiday quite costly. We enjoyed our stay very much , the breakfast & evening meals are very good , although as a previous reviewer had said the food is not always very hot , but a lot of choices available both for breakfast & evening dinner. We had a pool/sea view room that I had requested on the 5th floor. I also asked if we could have a kettle and it was in our room on our arrival. The rooms are not very big and storage is limited, only one drawer with hanging space above . The bathroom with a shower, which was a little small, but there was a window to open. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean. The food in the snack bar at lunch time is also very good. We choose to stay at the hotel due to its short taxi trip €15 from the airport and our previous holidays . If & when we return for any future holidays we would not hesitate to stay at Apolo . Ho soggiornato all’hotel Nura Boreal dal 5 al 19 Agosto. Purtroppo la permanenza è stata tutto fuorché rilassante e piacevole. 2 i motivi principali: 1 - La zona è una specie di “Ghetto tedesco”, la gente per via del Mega Park è già ubriaca alle 4 del pomeriggio e barcollante per le vie della strada, vi lascio immaginare in che condizioni possano tornare alle 4/5 del mattino (rumore, chiasso e schiamazzi). Diciamo che per questo l’hotel non ha colpe ma è pur un consiglio che vi do per evitare la zona. 2 - Ciò che mi preme di più sottolineare è la mancanza totale di rispetto del personale delle pulizie che durante OGNI mattina intorno alle 8:30/9:00, incuranti dei clienti che stanno dormendo o che vorrebbero rilassarsi spostano i letti (privi di feltrini) facendo un rumore che sveglierebbe anche un elefante (e io non sono una persona con sonno leggero) andando avanti per mezz’ora/un’ora per tutto il piano, non potendo quindi più dormire in alcun modo (potete capire il mix tra i tedeschi all’alba e le pulizie alle 8:30/9:00 del mattino, fantastico!) Abbiamo fatto presente questa situazione col sorriso nei primi due giorni di vacanza con risposta “ci dispiace, faremo presente al personale” ma per i successivi 10 GIORNI non è mai cambiato nulla, abbiamo chiesto la possibilità di parlare col direttore per trovare una soluzione ma NULLA, il direttore non ha mai voluto parlare con noi nonostante le molteplici richieste e non aveva nessuna intenzione di trovare una soluzione, dimostrando menefreghismo e una totale IRRESPONSABILITA'. Ultimo tentativo è stato scrivergli una lettera di reclamo, ma non crediamo che la prenderà in considerazione, per lo meno noi abbiamo fatto il possibile. Dulcision fundo, il cambio della biancheria aveva sempre qualche problema, una volta il lenzuolo sporco come se fosse stato calpestato, una volta l’asciugamano con le macchie, fatto presente anche questo nei primi giorni e sempre col sorriso, di fatto le signore delle pulizie davano colpa all’hotel, mentre l’hotel dava colpa alla signore delle pulizie, ergo, nulla di fatto, si doveva sperare ogni giorno che le cose fossero pulite come normalità dovrebbe senó costretti a chiedere il cambio. Spendo una nota positiva per Pedro, un receptionist che in questi giorni ha cercato di aiutarci in qualche modo e di venirci incontro offrendoci qualche lattina di Coca/Fanta per scusarsi, ma la totale mancanza d’interesse del direttore nei nostri confronti ha reso vano il suo aiuto, grazie comunque del gesto, sicuramente apprezzabile! :) Purtroppo il cambio di direttore avvenuto negli ultimi mesi ha totalmente declassato questo Hotel, consiglio vivamente di alloggiare da un’altra parte e in un’altra zona dell’isola che merita sicuramente di essere visitata. Nel nostro piccolo abbiamo contribuito facendo una reclamazione a ”consumo (turismo)”.

The hotel staff were so kind, and it was especially nice to be able to rent a bicycle at a low price. The pool and facilities were good for the price. In the reviews, there were people who said the room was a bit small, but I had a single double, so it was okay~! Overall, it's close to the airport, and the breakfast quality is so good that I think I'll visit again!
