"We've stayed in an apartment at Weissenhäuser Strand several times now. The location is nice, and there's no shortage of activities. However, that's pretty much where the positive aspects end. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. At night, you're kept awake by the noise level of intoxicated guests. Good service means addressing guests' concerns. But, just like our previous visits, our feedback was ignored this time as well. They're simply trying to make a quick buck off vacationers here. This was definitely our last time."

"The small, charming hotel is worthwhile by its excellent location and its great potential. It is obvious that the quality standards of a Grand Hotel are aiming. However, we believe that there is lack of qualified staff and effective management that enforces these standards. In the breakfast area there was lack of cups and cocktails. When I pointed out to the staff, a service force reacted very hysterically, saying they were only third and that for financial reasons no additional staff could be recruited. In this case, I was pushed unsatisfactoryly on my shoulder and strongly asked to complain about the reception. Since I had already been disregarded by a dishonest kindness, I renounced it. The hotel was not in the entire hotel, even at the reception at request. So the chaos remained uncoordinated and the laughter was first bad. Some staff seem to be trying to show their dissatisfaction with the management, but the cleaning staff and the Eastern European staff were good at work and always friendly. “The common thing between a guest and a staff member is that both are not forced to be there.”"

"The hotel offers free access to the water park, which is great for kids. The rooms are a bit small and not very spacious. There's a diving facility nearby, but it's only open Wednesday through Sunday. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for a family vacation."

"We had a wonderful time at SAND in Timmendorfer Strand. It is a stylish and cozy hotel very close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks super delicious and the rooms nice and clean. We will definitely return to this place!"

"Booked for a Sunday but when I arrived it was closed. They claim I made a reservation for the day after but I didn't, Sunday was correct. After insisting, they gave me a room that was very dirty, used the day before and not being cleaned"

"Total catastrophe! We had booked a double room with a sea view, dinner at the rooftop restaurant, and a massage, etc. We arrived on January 30th, and even upon arrival in the underground parking garage, it looked like a dumping ground: old mattresses and furniture everywhere. In the dirty, messy lobby: about 60 people of all ages. The hotel had been renovating but hadn't finished on time. The IT system was down, and they supposedly couldn't send out cancellations or call guests 🙈 We were promised a refund. We'll see... What a mess! Doesn't exactly speak well of the management. I'm not sure if we want to go there again. We ended up having a coffee next door and then drove home... 😔"

"Some of the staff are terrible, and the local tax payment process is unclear and doesn't match the information on the government website Booked in early evening at the front desk Quoted £165 but went to present card but figure on screen was £245 I questioned this but receptionist said this was correct I said no way and she backed down and proceeded to take my payment of £165 Then she charged me for a 1 night stay 2 days government tax So for me and my partner we were charged 4 x £1.80 I later checked on your local government website and this clearly states for a 1 night stay tax is only £1.80 per person Something not right there!!!"

"The hotel My beach house is a nice and pleasant holiday experience. Friendly reception at the reception, beautiful and consistent design of the whole hotel, very convenient (e.g. noiseless refrigerator, stick box right next to bed, generous measured box area, The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and is located in the heart of the city centre. The service staff was very friendly and careful. The sauna was small but still pleasant. The whole hotel is over-mean clean and maintained. I would like to spend my holiday here at any time."
