Vanuit het hotel loop je in een kwartiertje naar het aangename plaatsje Orebić, vanwaar ook de veerboten naar Korcula vertrekken. De hotelkamers zijn comfortabel, schoon en met fijn balkon. De infinity-pool is de eye-catcher van het hotel en erg geliefd, maar kan soms tot schaarste aan ligbedden leiden. De buffets zijn van uitstekende kwaliteit. En parkeren is gratis."

"I had an amazing stay at Villa Meridiana with my sister! The villa is spotless, the pool is stunning, and the beach is just a short walk away. There are lots of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which made everything super convenient. But what really made the difference was the staff — they were incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help. We truly felt at home. The manager was also wonderful and made sure everything was perfect for us. If you're thinking about booking a place, don’t hesitate — come to Villa Meridiana, you’ll love it!"

Aminess Vival Grand Azur Hotel

"We verbleven hier van 6 mei tot en met 2 weken. Het hotel is oké, maar het ligt niet echt in de buurt van iets, dus het is een beetje saai. Je kunt wel naar het stadje lopen, maar ook daar is niet veel te doen. Het personeel was vriendelijk, maar het eten was nogal eentonig en niet erg warm. In tegenstelling tot andere hotels waar we verbleven, was er geen magnetron om je eten op te warmen en 's ochtends waren er ook geen broodroosters, dus geen toast. De kamer was oké, maar je kreeg alleen een heel dun dekbed en sommige nachten was het koud. Er waren geen extra dekens zoals in andere hotels. De bar in het hotel was gesloten op mooie dagen, dus als je iets wilde drinken, moest je naar beneden lopen naar de strandbar en je drankje weer mee naar boven nemen. Het zou beter zijn als ze beide bars open hielden. De bar in het hotel had airco's aan staan ​​en het was niet prettig om in de koude tocht te zitten als het buiten niet zo warm was, maar ze stonden niet uit. We hadden kamer 228, die geen balkon had, dus we konden onze handdoeken niet drogen na gebruik. Ze vragen je wel om ze vaker te gebruiken om de waskosten te drukken. Zouden we er nog eens heen gaan? Nee, en de transfer duurt bovendien 3 uur in een heel klein en heet minibusje."

Aminess Younique Bellevue Hotel

"We recently stayed at Aminess Younique Bellevue (also referred to as Aminess Depadans Bellevue) and left with very mixed feelings. On the positive side, the reception staff were excellent – friendly, helpful and genuinely attentive. When we had an issue with ferry tickets (not even booked through them), they went above and beyond to resolve it. They also accommodated changes to our meal times without fuss. The food was fairly good too, with a decent variety of freshly prepared meals, fruit, cheeses and desserts. We stayed in the Casa complex, and while our room was quite basic, it was clean. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The bar staff were inattentive and disinterested, often walking past guests without taking orders, more engaged in chatting to each other than serving customers. Room service amounted to little more than towel changes and toiletries being replenished – cups and glasses weren’t cleaned, and floors were not mopped. The restaurant was under-staffed, tables were left uncleared and not reset promptly, and large group bookings caused long queues and a chaotic atmosphere. The dining room felt more like a school canteen than a 4★ hotel restaurant. Outside reception, staff generally lacked friendliness – perhaps end-of-season fatigue, but smiling at guests should be a basic standard. General cleanliness was also lacking in communal areas. Stairwells and landings were grubby and a child’s folding cot sat abandoned at the bottom of our stairwell for over a week before being removed. Very few rooms in Casa actually have sea views, as large trees block most of them. The biggest frustration is that so many of these issues could be resolved with more proactive and engaged management. With its fantastic location and good reception team, this hotel has real potential. However, in its current state, it feels like a 3★ at best, and compared to similar hotels we’ve stayed at in Greece, it falls well short. We’ll definitely return to Orebić as the town and setting are wonderful, but sadly we’ll be looking for a better quality hotel with friendlier service and higher standards."
