After reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job. They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved. To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated. There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor. Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long! I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

MX Mansion has given me the best overall service experience. You can really feel that the hotel places strong emphasis on service quality. Location: Strategically located in the heart of Ningbo, the hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Cheng Huang Night Market, the pedestrian street, shopping malls, and many popular restaurants. Super convenient for exploring the city. Staff: Check-in was pleasant and smooth, with friendly and warm staff at reception. They were very helpful in giving us navigation tips around the area. The team even went the extra mile to make our wedding anniversary special. A big thank you to Ms. Lu (吕小姐) for her thoughtful service! Amenities: The self-laundry area and gym are tucked away in a corner, so they’re convenient to use without disturbing guests. Room: Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It feels like the hotel has been newly renovated. The environment is comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast: The breakfast spread is good and offers enough variety if you prefer to dine in the hotel. Note: During winter, the hotel uses a centralised air-conditioning system, which means the rooms are set to heating mode. There are rooms with and without windows, so do consider your preference. We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. Service was top notch. Room was spacious and clean. The hotel even provides free laundry service - they can help wash, dry and fold your laundry any time of the day. Buffet breakfast had a good spread and was delicious. Hotel is in a great location. Within a five minure walk is the Tianyi shopping mall which has a huge supermarket. Highly recommend staying at thos hotel.

Ik maakte een korte trip naar Ningbo op meidag. Ik was hier eerder geweest tijdens een zakenreis en ik kon het ontbijt in dit hotel niet vergeten, dus ik verbleef hier weer. De twee aparte bedden in de tweepersoonskamer zijn geschikt voor twee grote en twee kleine kinderen. De kamer is schoon en netjes. In de ontbijtzaal is een Starbucks-servicestation geopend, waardoor koffie vrij is. De croissants worden goed ontvangen. Vooral de chef-kok die de gebakken broodjes maakt, geeft emotionele waarde en laat ons samen aftellen voordat de pot gaar is. De dame bij de receptie, Windy, was erg aardig, legde het probleem gedetailleerd uit en gaf ook souvenirs aan twee kinderen. De huishoudster Liu Jing heeft WeChat vooraf toegevoegd en gedurende het hele verblijf gevolgd. Het hotel ligt zeer dicht bij Hankyu.

Faciliteiten: Compleet, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Ik koos dit hotel omdat ze een gratis wasserette hadden en een koelkast op de kamer. Omgeving: Het ligt naast het Ningbo Grand Hotel en er is een 7-Eleven beneden, wat handig is om dingen te kopen. Een paar stappen de straat over en je bent op Tianyi Square. Het metrostation is ook dichtbij, wat handig is voor winkelen en reizen. Service: De meeste medewerkers groeten de gasten proactief. De receptie reageert snel op telefoontjes en als je eten bestelt, brengt een robot het naar je kamer, zodat je het zelf niet hoeft op te halen. Faciliteiten: Hier wil ik graag een suggestie doen. Ik weet niet waarom de kamers zo droog zijn. De dagen dat ik er was, kreeg ik keelpijn en moest ik veel hoesten zodra ik in de kamer was. Ik hoop dat het hotel wat luchtbevochtigers kan plaatsen. Het geluid van de deuren die dichtgaan is erg hard, vooral 's avonds als mensen laat terugkomen. Het geluid is schrikbarend en behoorlijk luid. Ik hoop dat ze een manier kunnen vinden om dit te verbeteren. Over het algemeen is het hotel zeer aan te bevelen. Ik hoop dat de genoemde punten worden verbeterd. Ik wens ze veel succes in de toekomst!

This is the last point of my business trip. The hotel is good and quite chill with Industrial style decoration. My room was without the freezer, but the receptionist said if I requested during check in, she can arrange to upgrade for the customers. Breakfast is good and have a wide variety to taste. The location is close to both Ningbo Airport and the high speed train station.

Fully Stocked Mini Bar: The mini bar was a pleasant surprise. It was well-stocked, allowing guests to indulge in their favorite beverages and snacks. However, there were a couple of areas where the hotel fell short: Toiletry Oversight: Unfortunately, the housekeeping team overlooked the essential toiletries. I missed having a dental kit, comb, body cream, and shower gel. Even the shampoo was absent from the toiletries collection. Tiny Bottles: In the cabinet, I found only tiny bottles of body wash and shampoo. While they were functional, I expected more comprehensive amenities. In summary, CITIC Ningbo International Hotel offers a nostalgic charm, excellent location, and stylish ambiance. With a little attention to detail, it could regain its former glory. It’s a really nice place/ location . Very peaceful and very close to a small town that has all basic things u need (about 15 minutes walking) . They staff are very nice , they were very accommodating on our needs. The place does needs some maintenance as we encounter some light issues and we had to change room, and some mold . Other than that it’s a great place
