"The view from our room and the terrace were absolutely spectacular. And so was the road up to the lodge. Luckily nobody crossed our way. Bringing our whole luggage down the stairs (and when leaving up again) was also not convenient. We definitively did not accept the offer of the daughter of our hosts - this would have been too much for her. But thanks for the offer. The breakfast was also very good and the recommendations of Alan with respect to eating in Nelson as well. Thanks for hosting us, we will keep you in good memory. "

"Beautiful large one bedroom unit, very clean, has two TV s(one in bedroom). Large bathroom with a spa bath, good shower. Kitchenette has everything you need for simple cooking. Bed is comfortable, electrical blanket is a plus. City view from balcony and mountain views from front verandah are very pleasing. Lovely friendly host lady makes our stay even more enjoyable. Location is central as well, easy drive/walk in and out. Loved it. Highly recommended."

"NEVER STAY HERE. The owners are terrible people, they abuse their customers and make fun of them behind their BACKS! I Left my phone recording In the apartment and went out, came back and she had gone inside the room my husband, 3 year old and 1 year old where staying had called us pigs, disgusting and was constantly swearing and her husband had made comments about my husband and I as parents all over my children dropping some food on the ground and walking around outside. tried talking to the owner of motel about their comments and they went absolutely mental. Spend your money else were! This place is terrible. Not kid friendly, AWFUL people, out dated motel."

"Vriendelijk en hulpvol welkom bij het vragen over dingen, niet blij met WiFi constant verdwijnen en hun antwoord was “ probeerde het te maken maar ? “ op de website bieden ze luchthavens opstappen maar niet wegens klachten van de lokale cabines dus waarom nog steeds dit te adverteren !!! En tenslotte, wanneer het opstappen van de sleutel op checkout vroeg niet hoe onze verblijf was of iets zo ontevreden met de dienst."

"One of the best things about Ah House are the hosts Mark and John. Welcoming, helpful and good fun. Lots of advice and suggestions on places to eat and visit. The b&b is in a quiet spot and it's just a short walk to the centre of Nelson. We stayed in the garden apartment which had views of the cathedral. Spacious with all the amenities you need with the all important comfortable bed and pillows. Mark is a talented Potter and one of his creations now has pride of place in our home. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would we stay again? Of course we would! Can't wait to come back!"
