"We stayed overnight in a pet friendly cabin and it was the best accommodation we’ve had on our road trip from the NT to Gold Coast. The cabin was spacious and had a small fenced back yard so the dogs could roam free. The bed was super comfy and the cabin had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and gave us great advice on where to eat etc. I’d highly recommend anyone travelling with dogs to stay here. "

Townview Motel ★★★

"Mount Isa is not a pretty town but the motel was very spacious and set on a main road overlooking the city. Due to a puncture we had to extend a one night stay to a four day stay. The owners were very accommodating and whilst not ideal we made the most of it. Mainly looking for a replacement tyre which out of three outlets not one was to be found and so had to limp to the next town where a new tyre awaited us. So thank you Townview. Like all the places to stay in central Australia parking and getting around was easy."

"Ik moet zeggen dat dit ongetwijfeld het meest vriendelijke en welkome motel is dat ik al jaren heb gehad. We zouden laat zijn, na 8:00 uur, rijden van de NT. We werden verteld dat het niet erg was en ze zouden ervoor zorgen dat onze sleutel en de kamer klaar was. Om 8:00 uur vroeg het personeel om ervoor te zorgen dat we veilig reizen en een update op onze ETA te controleren. Wanneer we aankwamen, kregen we een warm welkom en zelfs als de keuken was gesloten, ze hielden nog een maaltijd voor ons. De kamer is schoon, goed ingericht, rustig en comfortabel. Toen vonden we dat het motel huisdieren vriendelijk is!! Volgende keer reizen we met onze furry familie zullen we zeker hier blijven. Er is een groot parkeerplaats in de kamer die na een dag op de weg een beetje gemakkelijker ontpakt maakt. Er is zelfs een bucket en een raamschutter om uw windscreen te reinigen. Een complimentaire kaasbord bij aankomst, wie doet al deze dagen? Niemand anders!!! We blijven hier zeker op onze terugreis en zullen al onze vrienden en collega's vertellen over dit juweel zodat ze ook van deze oasis kunnen genieten."

"This motel must have a new Manager or a new owner as our experience was not up to the standard we had a couple of years ago. I requested two rooms on the ground floor; that did not happen, instead we were assigned two rooms on the first floor closest to the traffic on a very noisy road. One of the units had a broken toilet lid and the rubbish bins in both units needed to be replaced. We asked the Manager for a new tea towel as the one in the unit was so thin: the one he supplied was very poor quality with holes in; should have been relegated to the rag bag. All in all a bad experience, and would not stay again."
