"Ik woonde een nacht bij The Bridges en wens dat ik langer had gebleven. The Bridges is een heerlijke B&B en Lesley en Steve zijn zeer welkome gasten. Het huis is prachtig versierd en voelt zich thuis en mijn kamer was perfect, smelte lief en had alles wat je zou willen: een zeer comfortabel bed en kippen, een schoon bed met schroef, een verscheidenheid aan thees, koekjes, chocolade en flessen water. Ik zie altijd uit naar ontbijt en het was niet teleurgesteld. Alles is mooi geformuleerd en er is prachtige muziek in de achtergrond. Er is genoeg om je voor de rest van de dag op te stellen: vers fruit, verse sap, granen en gedroogde vruchten, verse toast en conserven en een heerlijk gekoeld ontbijt. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in Lesley en Steve's prachtige eetkamer. De bruggen zijn een geweldige basis om Northumberland te ontdekken en de perfecte plek om na een drukke dag terug te komen. Uw gastheer zal u aanbevelingen geven over wat te doen en waar te eten. Ik adviseer het zeer."

"Lovely spot in the village for lunch and drinks. It was great to find somewhere in the area that offered a range of cocktails, wines and soft drinks for our group. We visited as a group of 8, and we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic and hit the spot! I enjoyed the Steak and Ale pie, with some of the best mash l've ever had! My friends had a range of menu items such as the Cheese and Bacon Burger and the Pork Roast Dinner. Empty plates all round! Fantastic service from the two young girls on shift while we visited, an absolute kudos to the team. We can't wait to come back and visit, and now we know they do hotel rooms we will be making a weekend of it. Booking wasn't essential, but they started to fill up fast."
