The only minor drawback is that Amap (Gaode) navigation isn't very user-friendly for getting there, so it's best to communicate with the hotel in advance for directions."

We booked a two-bedroom suite, and I have to say, the soundproofing was excellent; we weren't disturbed by different schedules at all. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is located right within Honghe Water Town, very close to Qianwang Gate, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Focheng Shangdu (commercial city) is also not far. My only regret is that the weather wasn't cooperative, so we couldn't visit Lake Spring Ecological Park or enjoy the outdoor terrace of our room. Overall, though, our stay was still very pleasant!"

"Dit is een zeer mooi hotel, een goede locatie, goede kamers en uitstekende hulpbehoeften. Maar het hotel krijgt slechte merken in twee gebieden. Eerst, het eten was in het algemeen zeer goed, maar de westerse ontbijtbuffet keuzes waren bijna altijd koud. Ik heb drie dagen in rij geprobeerd om eieren te krijgen die niet hard gekookt waren, maar op de derde dag kreeg ik wat ik wilde, maar zelfs toen de eieren steenkoud waren. De lobbybar was aardig en had een jonge vrouw die de avond gitaar speelde, maar op onze tweede avond waren 4 dronken drinken, schreeuwen en roken en weigerden te stoppen toen het hotelpersoneel ingrijpen. Nadat deze dingen opklimmen en in plaats van hotelbeveiliging te hebben, gooien ze ze uit de dranken begon ons te beledigen en het werd vreselijk, dus we verlieten naar onze kamer. Het hotel heeft onze kamer verontschuldigd, maar het was niet uitgerust om deze situatie te behandelen en moet betere controle hebben over hun openbare ruimten. "I booked this hotel cause all the rooms were non-smoking and I am sensitive to smoke. But as soon as I arrived there was smoke odour in the hallway and there was a musty smoke odour in my room. The reception allowed me to change rooms but then my new room had smoke odour too because of uncles at the end of the hallway with door wide open smoking. The hotel took no action to tell the uncles to stop smoking. They only changed my room which was better this time but the next morning when I was walking down the hallway, it stunk of smoke and I noticed an uncle smoking in their hotel room. The hotel doesn’t enforce their non-smoking policy even though the rooms are non-smoking. So if you are a non-smoker and prefer clean air I recommend to stay away."

The spa is mixed. The absence of a dressing room means that people can enter the spa with their shoes and clothes ! Also, weirdly, the spa has no sign, but the toilets do.
