Maar de shuttle maakt het gemakkelijker om naar het strand te komen. Over het algemeen is het een rustig en ontspannen hotel, en we zouden het een goede rating geven."

"Except the location, everything else was disappointing during our 2 weeks holiday in this hotel. It’s nowhere near a 4* hotel as advertised. Well… the tourist charge is for a 4* plus hotel?! A 4 * hotel doesn’t charge for beach towels, we always had towel cards for this service. Reception area was old & tired and the staff was not willing to help with anything at all, customer service is non-existent. You can go to the other 4* plus Seth hotel on the main street nearby to see how a proper hotel of this rating looks like, looks miles away compared to Mestral & Llebeig. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioning doesn’t work very well in the bedrooms, there is no remote control either. Even though there is a control unit in the room, we had no instructions for it so we had to wake up throughout the night to turn it on and off. The rooms are basic, not to the standard of a 4* hotel and the beds are quite hard even with a topper. They didn’t change the towels or bed sheets regularly during the cleaning (every 4 days), only a quick floor mopping and that’s it. Rubbish bags weren’t collected either on cleaning day. The shower has a long tray but there is no door to get in so the water splashes everywhere. The restaurant was very poor, way too small for the amount of guests and badly managed. There is no air conditioning so you end up sweating during the dinner, quite often there are queues to get in and then more queuing for food. The food was average quality, repetitive and often dirty plates were put out for the buffet. Sometimes a dish was mixed with another food and no staff was there to supervise what’s going on in the buffet area. Salt & pepper was missing on some tables which are often “cleaned” in a rush. During the dinner, no water is available – for what we paid, at least water with meals should be included in the price. In the morning they had “orange juice” from a machine (water mixed with something) and the drinking water was warm from the same dispenser. Coffee was the same regardless of what you select from the coffee machine. We had a late flight home and have asked if we can keep the room for a late check out, more than happy to pay for this service. We’ve been told come back a day before we leave. We did that early in the morning only to be told that the hotel is fully booked and we can’t have a late check out. Out of curiosity, we went back in the evening (because someone else was on reception) and they said there were a few rooms available but were allocated in the morning?! When we told them that in the morning we were told differently, they changed it to the same story saying the hotel is fully booked. We walked past our room around 5pm and there still wasn’t anyone in it, we knew this because we left the curtains in a certain way and they were in the same position. The hotel doesn’t offer a courtesy room as most of the hotels do when you leave so we ended up taking a shower opposite reception. I should’ve taken a "
