my experiences from these hotels has been positive so far. this one stands out because i think the owners dont pay attention to it. the bathroom had no warm water or adequate water flow. it was spacious yes but i also wanted to bathe. the breakfast area is in the center of the establishment and only has natural light from the top which is 7 ? stories high. so if you have and early morning the area is not adequately lit. also the breakfast bouffet is lacking in choice. very few things offered. the bed excellent as always. for me 2 were the worst elements: i tried to talk to receptionist over the phone and he didnt speak english well and i found a cockroach in the restroom at the reception area. i know this is a hotel for short stay but isnt the goal of every hotel to have people converging no matter what?

The hotel is located at the highest point of the city center. The room can be seen throughout. The hotel and the rooms are beautiful, the service is good, the room is very big, except the bathtub is a little slow, everything else is very good.

Located in the center of Guacheng, right at the university entrance. The alley is a joint square, next to plaza la paz. Breakfast is eaten in another shop diagonally opposite. A little bit cold, I mean the place for breakfast. The room is quite big, two large beds. The amount of hot water in the bathroom is sufficient. The disadvantage is that there will be a motor sound of the water tank pump at night. Good health, the beauty of the front desk is not very good, but the enthusiasm is beautiful. Take a taxi to the airport about 400-450mxn, uber around 250-350, more than half an hour, to cross several tunnels. Recommended

This is one of the most amazing hotel buildings I've stayed in. Built right into the rock walls that this beautiful city is built upon, with tress growing up through the middle of it, a giant breakfast room with huge rack wall faces, a beautiful seating area on the fourth floor, and a gorgeous rooftop patio with amazing views of the city. The level of service at the hotel was also terrific. Some of the best I've had in Mexico. People who really wanted to take care of any issues you may have. And attentive service in the dining room. Breakfasts were very good. Not included, but a fair value, and a wonderful place to start your day. And the location is terrific. Just off the main strip, central to everything. The only downside is that the rooms are pretty average. Better than average beds, but small and not great, with lumpy pillows. It takes several minutes for hot water to make it to the room. No fridge or coffee maker. and

Super recommend the Balcon del Cielo hotel, about 400 per person. The recommended reasons are as follows: 1. Excellent location: The hotel is located next to Pipila, the handicraft market and the upper and lower entrances of the cable car are at the door of the hotel. 2. The hotel presents a cable car up and down card. With the hotel room card, you can take the cable car for free without any queuing. The only thing you should pay attention to is that the cable car runs until 9 pm, and you need to take a taxi back to the hotel after 9 pm. It's not too expensive for around ten yuan. 3. The breakfast provided by the hotel is at Casa Valadez next to the Juarez Theater. It is said to be one of the most famous restaurants in Guanajuato. The restaurant is designed in a classic style and is very distinctive. There are two ways to use the complimentary breakfast card. One is to choose a fixed set meal, which includes a staple food, coffee, fruit salad or juice, and French bread. There is no charge in this way. The second is not to choose the set meal, the restaurant menu is arbitrarily selected, in this case the breakfast card presented by the hotel can be deducted 120 pesos. The location is very convenient. Downstairs is the street. Next door is the attraction, Union Garden Plaza (Jardin de la Union) Nice room, spacious, just a bit noisy at night There is a large balcony in the room where you can punch in

The other reviews have said it mostly. Let me sum up. Location. Guanajuato has much of the city unaccessable by car/taxi. This hotel has parking, down it's back street on reservation. Some other hotels you might have to carry your bags some distance. As it was, I had to carry my bags a block at midnight, and then call to be let in. It is in the city center, on a park square, with most of the public buildings, monuments, etc. When you are walking a lot coming to a home base that is close is important. A hotel off the beatin path might be nice too. The Views. None of the reviews talked about the roof of the hotel. It has some nice views that are worth the stay alone. I asked for an upper floor room, thinking I might get one of those balconies by default. No dice, but sitting on the roof was plenty consolation for the two flights of stairs. Plus, it largely cut out the noise from the square. The hot tub was out of commission though. Convenience. This is a historic hotel. Small rooms, mexican tiled bathrooms, carved wood doors. If you decided to come to Guanajuato, why would you stay in a Hilton? The hotel has a hodge podge design, of convoluted stairs and additions, that resemble the towns construction, built up over centuries. It has a beautiful old world lobby. The staff were on the spot, and helpful with old school butler efficiency, answering all questions.
