Ik heb een andere kamer gekregen en ze zeiden dat ze het geld hadden ontvangen en vervolgens de terugbetaling hadden verwerkt. Het was een puinhoop. Vooral de service bij de receptie was slecht."

"The beds are so hard that you can feel the wooden slats. The WiFi goes in and out every few minutes. The shower in my room wasn't working, took them 3 days to fix it. Staff were very unwilling to spend any time communicating with me. The only upside is the location being right on the square but there are another 15 hotels on that block if you want to be in that location"

"To start off with the Seringal Hotel is a lovely place to stay, with beautiful rooms, comfy beds, and amazing food. Their tea and breakfast spread is amazing and absolutely delicious. They have a great omlette and sandwich station where you are served by the kindest staff. The staff and management of the Seringal Hotel have really gone above and beyond for us and our travel companions. They have been so incredibly helpful at every change in plans and did everything they could to help our group when of us got sick. We would especially like to compliment Diego and Rodrigo who were invaluable, kind, and went above and beyond to assist our ill companion. In addition, we would like Vitoria, Camilla, and Daniel who went out of their way to help us shuffle around reservations during the unexpected changes in plans. All of the above and the entire staff were incredibly kind and genuine and would ask every day how our friend was doing. We have never felt so welcomed and cared for at any hotel in the world and I will be absolutely recommending the Seringal and their staff to anyone and everyone who is going to Manaus."

"The cleaning standards were surprisingly good. The breakfast was very good. My room was a Deluxe Double, and in this sense it seems to me that the "deluxe" is due to the size of 33m2, since in general it is a simple room, with a "clothes rack" to hang clothes. The wall where the air conditioning is installed had some peeling parts, requiring maintenance, and the lower part of the window also had some damaged paint. I am very strict about cleaning standards, so in this regard the level of cleanliness of the apartment was very good, but it requires puttying and painting the areas of the walls that I mentioned above. One aspect that caused surprise was the fact that when I arrived at check-in, at 1:00 p.m. on February 13, 2024, there was no service to take the bags to the room. My wife and I arrived with 5 bags. I asked for help to put them on the cart, but this service was not available, so I was given the "cart" so that I could carry the bags to the room myself. I found this strange because it is common for Atlantic chain hotels to have a porter service. I requested early check-in and it was granted. Overall, the stay at Sleep Inn Manaus was a pleasant surprise, especially due to the cleanliness and breakfast, as well as the good service provided by the staff I had contact with, from the reception to the kitchen. I would like to ask the manager of the Sleep Inn Manaus Hotel to take note of the details mentioned on the air conditioning wall and below the window (room 709). Thank you very much!"

"The building and room are very unique and beautiful, having been converted from a former convent. Clean and welcoming. We didn't try breakfast because we had to leave the hotel early in the morning. The staff only speaks Portuguese. The pool is very small and the water is dirty. They don't have a bar."
