DDaphne MQThe hotel’s location is absolutely excellent—right in the heart of Jonker Walk. Everything is just steps away, whether you want to explore the night market, enjoy local food, or grab a casual drink in the evening. It’s incredibly convenient and perfect for a lively yet effortless stay.
One of the best parts is that room service is available until 10:30 PM, so even if you don’t feel like heading out, you can still enjoy a delicious meal comfortably in your room.
The breakfast spread is impressive and truly delicious. There is a wide variety of options, including Nyonya cuisine, Western dishes, porridge, Malay noodles, pasta, croissants, and fresh fruits—something for every taste.
The hotel’s design reflects a beautiful Baba-Nyonya style, creating a charming and relaxing holiday atmosphere. There is also a small rooftop water play area where kids can splash around and have lots of fun, which adds a lovely family-friendly touch to the stay.
Overall, the experience was exceptional—truly a perfect stay from start to finish!

EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups.
The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient.
Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot.
Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant.
One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times.
Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

AAnnominusHotellocatie is goed. Ontbijt was zo zo. Niet veel keus. Lepel die ik kreeg van personeel was niet schoon. Personeel kon geen service bieden aan drukke gasten. Eten wordt niet bijgevuld. Geen glazen om drankjes in te nemen. We zullen de volgende keer geen ontbijtservice nemen. De kamer is echter groot (we namen een primer deluxe suite) en mooi uitzicht op zee. Zal er weer naartoe gaan. Hotelmanagement moet overwegen om de drukte tijdens het ontbijt te beheren met extra ingehuurd personeel en een andere ruimte voor borsten te openen in plaats van een lange wachtrij voor gasten.

RRC8888Hotel is very conveniently located near makuta parade and 2 other malls, especially if you are going there by coach. There is a caring pharmacy just in front and many eatries around. Our 2 bedder family room was big and spacious but the carpets might need a wash and the room feels a but mouldy but we rented an air purifier that helped. Breakfast was average. Overall a good stay.

Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant.

The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. GGastgebruikerView from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.

MMerryD.It's worth more than the price, the location, the facilities.
I paid less than RM50 per night (not including the RM50 deposit). The bathroom and showers are amazing. The heaters is 5/5 stars, complete with shampoo, soap, towels. We got a window with the city view. The room is big and very comfortable, the air-conditioning is fully functioning. A lot of space for prayers.
I'd definitely book this hotel again, next time.

GGastgebruikerThe hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher.
Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest.
After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.
