Mijn eerste indruk was dat het dicht bij de kust ligt en ver van de hoofdweg. Het zou dus niet lawaaierig moeten zijn. Toen ik incheckte, ontdekte ik echter dat er in het hele hotel geen enkele geluidsisolatie was. De bovenburen waren aan het praten, lopen, de kraan aan het opendraaien, het toilet aan het doortrekken en zelfs aan het vrijen, wat ontzettend veel lawaai maakte. En het bleef de hele nacht doorgaan. Ik had nooit verwacht dat het stilste hotel dat ik zorgvuldig had uitgekozen, het lawaaiigste hotel zou zijn waar ik ooit in mijn leven heb verbleven."
