"I went for an aperitif at this farmhouse with some friends. We ate two excellent platters of goat's cheeses produced by them and cured meats. The view is spectacular, with the whole mountain range. The owners very nice and friendly. 7 minutes from the center of Lecco, I recommend everyone to go there."

Hotel Don Abbondio

"Since my first visit in 2018, I always stay at Hotel Don Abbondio when I am working near Lecco. Staying here is akin to receiving an enormous hug! The hotel is family run and, as such, you will receive a welcome as though you are part of the family! Giuseppina greets you with a smile and will stop whatever she is doing, pop on a jacket and help you find a place to park. It is street parking but not more than a 2 minute walk. Luciano is an absolute gentleman and, if you ask, will perform a concert for you in the lobby. Luciano is an organist and an excellent one at that. The hotel is old style; expect a personal welcome as opposed to a generic check-in, expect classic functional rooms with everything you need and know that you will leave Hotel Don Abbondio with memories and stories to tell. Luciano and Giuseppina are charismatic, endearing and will do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are rooms with balconies, restaurants and supermarkets nearby and the lake is waiting for you outside the front door. Seriously, an absolute gem. If you visit Lecco, stay here."

Hotel Alberi

"The Hotel Alberni was less than a 10 minute walk from the train station, just perfect. The hotel is located next to the lake and is close to everything. Our room was really clean and comfortable with black out curtains, a small balcony and a lake view. Breakfast offers good, tasty choices, including traditional, local cake. Plenty of local restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. Thank you."

"Fantastisk udsigt Virkelig søde og rare værter. Stedet havde en fantastisk udsigt, og poolen var også dejlig, Eneste negativt at sige var at gulvene og altanen larmede virkelig meget. "

"De kamer is mooier dan op de foto's, 5 minuten van het treinstation. Het probleem is dat er geen receptie was... en ik zei dat de trein te laat was toen ik aankwam... er geen letters van de locatie waren... dus bel me en een zeer harde vrouw zei dat ik geen reservering had. Ik zei dat ik het dagen geleden gedaan had en toen ik het al moe was, vond hij het, dus zei hij dat er binnen tien minuten iemand me zou openen, toen een heer me de kamer liet zien, maar hij sprak geen Engels. Ik vroeg of ik mijn koffer de volgende dag kon laten opslaan om te kunnen gaan en zei dat ik 10€ betaalde, zei ik dat ik die dienst in de kameroptie had, maar omdat ik geen Engels spreek, zei hij dat ik moest bellen wanneer ik aankwam 🙄... hij ging en toen ik naar bed ging de De badkamer was schoon, maar de meubels van de kamer waren vol stof."
