Hotels in Dianchi Lake Scenic Area/ Sunac World, Kunming

The hotel is small yet exquisite, with a beautiful wooden design. The bamboo forest outside the window is very relaxing. It's conveniently located right at the entrance of the Folk Culture Village, making it easy to explore. Food, accommodation, and entertainment options are all readily available nearby. The hostess is gentle and beautiful, making conversations very pleasant and she is very considerate of guests. It was the Torch Festival, so there were many activities in the Folk Culture Village, making it a great place to stay and enjoy at a leisurely pace.

首先，我作為一個酒店管理者，我要好好的評價一下這個酒店的老闆，人很親切，和善。房間很大，設施設備齊全，房間內有很多細節，漱口杯都有杯套，有準備的一次性馬桶墊，一次性浴缸套。還給朋友們升級了房間。這個位置離海埂大壩走路5、6分鐘很近，酒店提供電動車。住在這裏很安靜非常安靜。露台拍照很出片，非常nice的體驗

酒店位於別墅區，環境非常不錯，周圍綠化設施做的很到位，空氣清新，環境優雅，房間打掃的也很乾凈，一塵不染服務態度很好有問必答，性價比很高，當時接待的前台小姐姐（佳佳）熱情周到，給升級了房型，有求必應很貼心，酒店位置交通各方面都不錯環境很好，床上用品乾淨整潔，一夜好夢，離海埂大壩也很近出門遊玩十分方便，推薦給大家，和父親出遊，長者家也非常滿意，離開時，前台另一個小姐姐 幫提行李上車，感恩！

This is a unique hotel that offers healing therapy classes that comes along with the accommodation package. I’ve attended the sound bath therapy class at 1pm and felt somewhat relax after the session. Throughout the day, we had a lot of rest in our room and can hear singing bowl music from outside in the late evening til night. For maximum relaxation, I booked a room that provides aroma diffuser and essential oil to promote good sleep. Room has Xiao Du AI to help with curtains opening/closing, weather forecast, news, alarm setting and music playing! Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy watching shows on projector screen as the projector seems to be faulty. We initially thought its just dead battery in remote control but after changing to new battery provided by the hotel staff, the ceiling projector still fails to turn on. We gave up troubling the staff and rest instead since our flight is late midnight. Breakfast is wide spread and offers both western and local food option. I like their porridge and it’s a good change from having daily Mi Xian from other hotels. They also offer special jujube type of fruits that I’ve never tasted before. In addition, they also offer afternoon tea buffet starting from 2pm which you can help yourself if you are still staying in the hotel during the afternoon. The only alarming thing is, we left the hotel with “Do not disturb” red light on + hang “do not disturb” tag on the door, but was shocked to see our room was tidied when we came back in the evening. China hotels do not seem to have safety box option as basic amenities, so we prefer not to get our room tidied but thankfully nothing valuable was lost. We didn’t tell the hotel since nothing was lost and our stay was short anyways. Overall, the staff service attitude is friendly and good but I hope they can respect customer’s privacy. If customer do not wish the room to be cleaned, please do not enter the room.

The hotel is just a short walk from YingHai Rd MRT Exit A, super convenient for anyone staying there. It's walking distance to Seagull View Point at DianChi. The room is spacious, the furnishing feel like it's 5-star hotel. Come with afternoon tea buffet and breakfast. Highly recommended for traveller that needs convenience to commute with MRT. Can easily get to downtown shopping district at Nanping.

Het hotel ligt tegenover Daguan Gongyuan, ongeveer 90 km van Shilin en 15 minuten rijden van Kungming Laojie (niet te vergelijken met Guzhen). De kamer is schoon en zeer ruim. We konden genieten van het zwembad, dat zeer goed onderhouden wordt. Het etablis*****t is nieuw en het personeel luistert aandachtig naar uw wensen. We konden onze kleren buiten wassen en drogen. Als dank voor onze eerste reservering bood het hotel ons tenslotte een maaltijd aan, bestaande uit gerechten. Ik raad het etablis*****t aan.

The hotel lobby is located on the 8th floor, offering breathtaking views of Dianchi Lake and the Sleeping Beauty Hills (Western Hills). The sunset views are especially therapeutic. As a brand focused on health and wellness, EVEN Hotel boasts unique details: rooms come with yoga mats, resistance bands, and a white noise system for better sleep, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routine even on long trips. The rooms are new, clean, and feature a simple yet refreshing design, with very comfortable Sealy mattresses for a restful sleep. The Food and Beverage restaurant offers a rich breakfast selection, including authentic Yunnan copper pot rice noodles. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the lake view is an excellent experience. The hotel also features a 24-hour gym, self-service laundry room, and a kids' club, making it suitable for both family vacations and business trips. The location is superb, very close to Haihong Wetland Park and Haigeng Dam, making lakeside strolls very convenient. Tom was warm, attentive, and responded promptly. Overall, the value for money is excellent. This is my top choice when visiting Kunming Dianchi Lake, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the Spring City!

**A Home Away from Home in Kunming** Our stay at this homestay in Kunming was truly exceptional. The room was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, thoughtfully designed with minimalist accessories that perfectly matched our taste. Cozy and inviting, it offered a sense of warmth and comfort that made us feel at home instantly. The view of the lake from our window added a touch of magic to our mornings and evenings. The location is simply ideal. Situated in a peaceful area just 100–200 meters from the Ethnic Yunnan Village Park (also known as the Ethnic Minority Nationalitys Park), it allowed us to easily explore this cultural gem during a day trip, an experience we highly recommend. At the same time, the homestay is surrounded by quiet shops and local markets, making it both convenient and serene. What truly set this place apart was the outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, even arranging a Didi taxi to ensure we reached the homestay smoothly. Their kindness didn’t stop there, they helped us purchase tickets for cultural attractions, found an English-speaking guide when our Mandarin wasn’t sufficient, and took care of countless other details that made our stay effortless. A highlight of our experience was Miss Zhang’s traditional Yunnan tea ceremonies. These sessions were not only a delight for the senses but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the unique qualities of Yunnan teas and the art of brewing them. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, often joined by the owners, which led to lively, hours-long conversations filled with laughter and stories. It was these moments that made us feel like we were among friends rather than guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked the same room for our return in a week. We can’t wait to be back in this haven of warmth, culture, and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and heartwarming experience in Kunming!

This is definitely a new hotel to me, location is about 15mins of walking from the metro but i like to do the walk. It is in a posh neighbourhood where I see posh kids going to school and an expensive bike shop Pinarello round the corner. Breakfast is the best among the hotels i stayed in China.
