A business trip, a five-star hotel with a good standard, is very close to the pedestrian street. The hotel reception booked a taxi to the airport in the early morning to solve the traffic problem in the middle of the night.

Nice and clean hotel, newly refurbished. Close to the railway station, close to the town centre. Only two little notes - no lift, a bit too many stairs, especialy for disabled person.and the tiwels look a bit too old for the completely new inferior. Despite these our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

Lovely and reasonably priced. Reception staff was helpful explaining the city, transportation and accommodating our extra requests. The restaurant food was nice and the bar staff was EXCELLENT, had a bottle of local wine and they took the time to decant it and give us the full wine tasting experience. We stayed here for the race, they opened breakfast early for the runners (7am) and arranged a cab for us at 7:45. Be sure to book a cab in advamce as they are busy the morning of the race. In retrospect we could have gotten a cab a bit later, 8:15 or so, as it was very easy to get to the start of the race at 9am.

When visiting for a short period, the best solution is to book a place in the heart of the city center. Boutique Hotel Bristol is all you need for a short trip, don't expect luxury, but do expect extremely friendly and helpful staff, both at the reception and serving breakfast, very clean room and comfortable beds. You get bath robes in the rooms, but no slippers, and I do wish I did, but it wasn't an actual issue. We did not have problems with the noise, although the location of the hotel is right in the middle of the pedestrian area of the city center. I would add that for a longer trip the breakfast options might get a little boring, because you can't get that much variety in a boutique hotel, but this wasn't a problem for our trip. Other amenities: pleasant and boutique-like looking lounge area at the reception with nice plants and comfortable chairs, inner courtyard for parking (which is great for staying in the city center) and I must add that we all loved the less-waste type of cosmetics in the bathroom in big containers, not for one purpose use, but still sanitary (I must say that I will get from l'occitane the verbena hand soap, because the smell and feel of it was lovely). Important to know is that you have an elevator up to the 2nd floor, and then go by foot to the 3rd in case your room is located there. We did not get the chance to use the Roman SPA, but next time we sure will. When going back to Kosice, for sure this will be the place to stay for us!

This hotel is the jewel in Kosice ,an ideal location right in the city center.I know Kosice very well and this hotel is my favorite.Good tastefully furnished rooms with all the amenities expected of a good quality hotel.The breakfast was nice,good taste,perfect breakfast environment.The staff are very very attentive and polite at all times ,eager to ensure your stay is better than a 5 star hotel. The Horse Inn also has a fantastic hair salon ,massage and speciality cosmetic center within the same premises. If you come to Kosice I highly recommend only to stay in this hotel,it’s not expensive,very comfy and right in the center of town. 10/10 from me.
