"To start with the positives: This is one of the few airport hotels with free shuttle transfers which worked well. The room is large and as per the pics, with comfortable bed. Negatives: The hotel "lost" my booking. They said they tried to call me with no answer because my phone was switched off, but when I suggested this may be because I was flying the receptionist said "No...you had switched your phone off". Quite a strange answer & attitude to a guest. She "rebooked" me and I ended up paying more then my original booking price. I stayed two nights, and throughout my stay, I had ZERO TV connection. I told the receptionist, and she (a different receptionist to check in) didnt seem to care at all !! ("it probably needs rebooting").....but despite being told someone would attend to it, nothing was done. For the money I paid, having no TV is ridiculous. Minor issues.....no handle on the shower tap, nowhere to hang a towel in the bathoom (there had been something on the back of the door, but was missing). Despite being listed on the amenities, there was no fridge. (just a gap where it should have been.) Overall, for the money paid, a very disappointing stay and will definitely look for other options on future visits."

"We vonden ons verblijf in de Hilton Airport New Orleans leuk! Het ligt vlak achter Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport en er is een gratis shuttle die u op het vertrek afstopt. De kamers waren comfortabel en we konden de temperatuur aanpassen, plus ze hebben snacks in de lobby voor aankoop als je honger krijgt voor je vlucht. Erg aanbevolen hier te blijven als je een vroege ochtendvlucht uit de stad hebt zoals we het gedaan hebben."

"This motel is special: I’m a motel fan and it is the first motel I’ve ever see that goes with an elevator! it gave me both a surprise and delight that I could easily carry my luggage to the second floor. You can tell the owner knows how to do business: it’s TV is even larger than the one I lived in downtown NOLA—and most important of all, the TV is working very well. Before switching to this motel, I lived in Aloft New Orleans Downtown for 3 nights, with nightly rate above $200, yet I felt quite inconvenient because Aloft lacked this and that. So really, amenities can be new or old, but the sense of the owner to invest in essentials to provide convenience does not necessarily mean that these things have to be “fancy” (but useless). While I wouldn’t say the level of cleanliness was also super—it was ok (though the blankets could have been nicer)—but overall in the world of motels, this one makes me feel that the owner does intend to offer you some needed service."

"The environment was average, and the front desk service was good. However, the area didn't seem very safe. The elevators were old, and the facilities were all outdated. I had to make do with it for one night because my flight was canceled. It wasn't worth the price."
