"Checked in on July 5th and checked out on July 6th. Enter the hotel in Kasane, Botswana from Zimbabwe on the platform. The male staff at the front desk was kind and answered all our questions. He told us how to visit Chobe National Park, helped us contact the cruise ship that afternoon, and told us the shuttle bus time from Kasane to Maun, although we later chose to fly. Went to Maun and personally drove us to the airport the next day. Here, I would like to thank the black front desk staff. The hotel does not occupy a very large area, but it has parking spaces and a restaurant. We had dinner at the hotel. I chose pork rice. There were four taels of roasted pork. It was fragrant and very delicious. The room is large, the bed is big enough to sleep four people at the same time, but the furniture is simple and the shower and toilet are separated; there is wireless Internet, but the speed is slow. The breakfast on the 6th was very unpleasant. I paid for the room rate including breakfast on the platform, but I was told that I had to pay for breakfast. I immediately contacted xc. After negotiating with the hotel, the platform persuaded me to pay for breakfast and then reimburse it with the invoice at xc. Although the platform finally solved our breakfast problem and reimbursed our breakfast fee, I still felt that there was no link. There was a problem because when we checked in, the front desk said we didn't pay, so we had to contact xc to solve the problem. The breakfast charge is clearly marked, I remember it was 80 pula per person, but the hotel accountant quoted xc 120 pula per person, which is a bit unreasonable."

"While the property is very nice when you arrive and the staff greeting is wonderful things collapse rapidly. The place is so busy either tour groups and day trippers that the buffets are not refilled often enough. The only food is buffet style and often repeated. The pool by the spa is the only quiet place to relax but the bathrooms have no supplies. The “golf course” is 9 holes and appears abandoned (pro shop had a padlock on it mid-day). The rooms are adequate size but the beds are tiny (doubles not even queen sized). Our AC failed twice in 3 days and we had mouse droppings all over our patio which housekeeping ignored so using that part of the room wasn’t an option."

"I was scared at first because of the bad reviews, but our experience was completely different. The room was nice, clean and quite big, comfortable indeed. Everyone is nice and willing to help, the whole place is quite nice and well maintained. The only flaw is the limited, and fixed, restaurant menu, but the cook is available to do some customizations to your dish. I can say we had a nice stay for a affordable price. Recommended."

"We stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour of Kruger, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Near Chobe National Park, this is a small, older lodge that feels a little worn, but the airconditioned rooms were clean and comfortable, arranged in a square around a small open-to-the-air inner courtyard. The bathroom was new and spotless. The beds were whimsically decorated with scarves and leaves, differently each day. The bar and restaurant were a short walk from reception."

Ruime en comfortabele kamers, met een gedachtevolle zetel voor de kamers om de grote tuin en het water te overzien (om de lokale wachtwortels te zien grazen en apen spelen!). Gemakkelijk in staat om op de jet naar de Chobe River te lopen. Liefde de keuzes tussen game drives en rivierkruisingen. Goed scala aan keuzes voor ontbijt, lunch en diner. Alle personeel was handig en vriendelijk."
