"Voldoende, maar te duur met $80 per nacht. Ik verbleef er tijdens een motorreis. Ik kon mijn motoren parkeren op een deel van de straat. De vloerbedekking in het hotel was erg vies. De kamer rook naar rook. Het beddengoed was schoon. Het ontbijt was bovengemiddeld. Goede locatie."

"The building that impressed me the most in terms of Baltic architecture was the Cheltikov Hotel. I visited all the streets in the center and left the hotel for last because it was far from my route. When the rain started, I wanted to have a tea in the restaurant section. After taking a breather, they said they would serve the tea when paying. The staff were very polite."

"Arrived at 11:30pm after the Dogu Express. Got woken up at 1am by the man in the reception who had forgotten to take my passport information upon check-in. Got woken up again at 5:30 by a call to prayer and noises from outside and then about an hour later by the noises of someone showering due to extremely poor noise insulation. I'm wouldn't consider myself a particularly picky traveler but I was astonished at how extremely poor the noise insulation was. Bathroom also had cobwebs and stains on the towels. Was booked for 2 nights but ended up only staying 1."

"This is a gem of a location, with an amazing ambiance. A former caravanserai, the decorating of this hotel is opulent. While the rooms are not that big, the decor more than makes up for it. Original stone walls, large chandeliers, beautiful kilm carpets in the rooms. We were talking and wanted to pack the carpets in our luggage and take them home! The bathrooms are decorated with outstanding tiles and colour scheme. While it wasn't very big, it was properly lit and and warm. it's possible to walk down the hill to the centre of town, where we visited a tea shop and sat outside drinking chai. The breakfast was modest for a buffet but tasty and adequate. I would recommend that the hotel staff be a bit more hospitable, especially those who work the front desk. They should greet the visitors, and not just ignore them when they arrive, even if it's after check in. "
